We got this hotel through the 'Top Secret Hotels' route and found the hotel itself to be very good - clean, spacious with helpful and efficient staff. No complaints about the room which was more than adequate although the view was only over the railway lines. There is a small pleasant courtyard to sit outside and the lobby and bar...

Booked this hotel through a Priceline bid of $55/night. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful, too. The hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk from two different Metro stations, so if you're looking for something in the middle of all the action and nightlife Madrid has to offer, this isn't the place. You...

stayed at this hotel as part of Trafalgar tour for 2 nights, the hotel is far away from all attractions, the walls are thin and you can hear the elevator and other tenants flushing their toilets or taking shower, first night me and other travelers could not sleep till 4 am in the morning as there was a private function...

The location is terrible, the rooms are bland and the service leaves much to be desired. I stayed at this hotel on a weeklong business trip and were it not for the cancellation fine, would have left immediately. My room's ceiling had clear water damage and was falling apart. I was woken up by the cleaning staff walking through the...

The room was clean and comfortable. Going to tourist destinations like Plaza Major or El Sol was an inexpensive taxi ride away. Walking to the Prado, central park and T station wasn't too bad. But, on Sunday morning, when we were leaving, there were no taxis outside to take us to the train station and the hotel person said they...

Firstly, a quick moan about lastminute.com. We booked this hotel through lastminute.com's "Top Secret Hotels" promotion, the first time using this method. Described as a "Centrally located hotel in front of Atocha Station" we figured this was a decent location and price for a 4* hotel on our first visit to Madrid (got it for around £300 for 5 nights...

Stayed for 1 night near the station Atocha. Neighbourhood wasn't nice, rooms were boring. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great. The hotel was convenient for us but I wouldn't stay here for a leisure trip.

I got stuck with this hotel through priceline and was worried when I read the reviews on here. The hotel itself is fine, the rooms were quite nice, very clean and the bed comfy. We caught the metro from the airport and got off at the Atocha station. I thought the reviews were right when the cab took 10 minutes...

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. This place was in a weird area and not convienent to the metro station. The 'non-smoking' room that we had absolutely reeked of smoke. I spent one night in this particular room and woke up naseous and with a headache. We asked for a new room in the morning. They were pleasant and move our luggage to...

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Chose it mainly because of the location - "close" to the Atocha train station. It turned out to be a 15 min walk. The room was nice and clean. Free broadband internet but the wireless was quite expensive. The neighborhood seamed safe.
