The luxury feeling starts at once, and especially when you get of of you (hotel) Limo, after they have picked you up at the airport. The staff is impeccably dressed, the interior and the flower decorations are fantastic. The Hotel is located super-central in Madrid, and the hotel garden is delightful, here we enjoyed our chilled afternoon Cava, after cycling...

What do you expect when you stay at The Ritz? A beautiful setting, top quality service and attentive staff. Well that is what you get. Nothing was too much trouble. From the moment you walk in you are left wanting for nothing. What is more this is all done with the least amount of fuss. I could perhaps find one...

We stayed here for a handful of days, visiting the major and some minor sights in Madrid. Overall, we had a great experience. Jose Antonio, (who drove us from the airport and to Toledo) was great. A friendly and knowledgeable person. He recommended great restaurants (admittedly I was skeptical) and helped us around Toledo (worth a day visit but be...

Had a great stay at the Ritz. The staff is wonderful and very responsive to your every need. We had an upgraded room overlooking the Prado. Excellent location to explore central Madrid, the museums, and the botanical garden. The afternoon tea is not to be missed.

The Ritz is in the best location. It is facing the Prado. The Ritz has comfort and luxury. The staff is wonderful. They left plates of perfect peaches several days and an almond cake another day. The bed and sheets are so comfortable. Have a drink in the garden terrace. The public areas are old school elegant. I liked that...

After travel delays we splurged and stayed here in one of the Tower rooms. A foyer, living room, huge bathroom and bedroom with a wrap around balcony. Lovely decor. This hotel is not to be missed. One of the nicest hotels you will ever stay in. It is outstanding. My favorite area is the outside courtyard behind the hotel. So lovely and very private but adjacent to The Prodo museum. Great location to shopping, museums, and amazing parks.

Staying in Paseo del Prado

Neighbourhood Profile
Paseo del Prado
The area around the elegant Paseo del Prado boulevard is much-visited by both locals and tourists. The world-famous Prado, the Reina Sofia, and the Thyssen-Bornemisza museums form a triangle of art and culture that spans this grand and beautiful avenue. On weekdays, the Prado Museum opens its doors for free after-work hours, drawing a diverse and excited queue of art lovers that wraps around the block. Palacio de Cibeles and Círculo de Bellas Artes cultural centers are other artsy hangouts to check out, with rooftop bars that provide impressive views of the city. While the Paseo del Prado and its roundabouts form a busy throughway in Madrid, a broad green pedestrian park in the middle is a calm and gorgeous place for a relaxing stroll. Just east of the museums, the Retiro Park is always a confluence of activity as families and friends of all ages take to the pretty paths and lawns to stretch their legs or to have a picnic.
