Great little hotel above a good bar/restaurant that attracts a lot of locals. Busy street with many other places to eat and drink, short walk to Metro and main squares. Wonderful design - hostoric building but very modern rooms. While the street is noisy, the windows are pretty soundproof and I slept really well

Excellent location, clean rooms, great little restaurant, friendly staff. Well worth the visit. A five minute walk from Plaza Mayor, this is a great little boutique hotel. The street is very busy at night but the hotel has put in great soundproofing so you really aren't bothered by the noise.

We did not stay in the hotel, but went to the restaurant for tapas and wine. We were thrilled with the food and the service. For us, it was a great place to have a glass of wine and order tapas. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Beautiful building in Latina area of Madrid. Superb location for hitting the Tapa's bars! Extremely clean, modern and spacious rooms. Rooms are expensive and without breakfast so for this reason wouldn't stay again.

The location is near the plaza Mayor and the restaurant is inside a characteristic building. Food is very very good and well served. From the starter to the end everything was absolutely tasteful. The staff is very kind.

Hotel is at an excellent location. Close to everything! Nice rooms, cute restaurant and bar downstairs. I would highly recommend! Close to many places to eat. It was pretty quiet, despite being in a busy area.

Me and my father had a lovely paella in the restaurant. Girl on the door and the waitress were both really friendly. The restaurant was interesting because it has a glass floor where you can see the ruins of the medieval Muslim fortress, now used as a wine store. Only downside was that it was very quiet. We went on...

We wanted a place near where our son lives, this was ideal and such a great place to stay. Room, food and service all excellent. Although we had a room with a balcony overlooking Cava Baja we hardly noticed the noise at the weekend with the window closed.

Dear PepsTT, Thank you for your positive feedback! We are pleased to hear you liked the place, and the service! Our restaurant counts with 300 types of wines, all national products! All of them can be marinated with food, and this is part of our maitre, who can advise you which wine to drink, depending on your food. We hope...

We attended a project meeting in Madrid. The local organizers reserved tables for approximately 20 attendees. It turned out to be a great evening with great food. Servers courses got served. It was an excellent Spanish evening

Staying in La Latina

Neighbourhood Profile
La Latina
La Latina is a charming neighbourhood with two unique personalities. At first glance, it’s distinctly old-world, with narrow streets weaving a maze among charming stone buildings in sunny, bright colors like yellow and pink. The other side of La Latina is characterized by a young population and a bohemian vibe, as evidenced by a dynamic and evolving selection of new bars, shops, coworking spaces, and other businesses popping up in the area. In the northern part of the neighbourhood, the Cava Alta and Cava Baja streets constitute the tapas center of Madrid, where each age-old restaurant serves up distinctive specialties like huevos rotos and patatas bravas. Locals have come here for generations to while away hours over drinks and tapas with friends. On Sundays and public holidays, the streets to the south of La Latina metro station transform into a giant open-air market full of locals sifting through tent after tent of art, apparel, and antiques. Any day of the week, the intriguing blend of the traditional and the hip make the streets of La Latina worth exploring.
