Single room is small and a little bit stuffy but there is very comfortable bed inside. There is also a sink. There is no hairdryer in the room. Conditioned with ventilator. Bathrooms are clean. Located near the metro Tribunal (3 minutes by walking) but be careful when you choose an hotel near the Tribunal - the Linea 1 is closed...

Great location, near to Tribunal metro station; property located on the 3rd floor of the building; great place for budget stay. Clean room and clean toilet. Also towels. You receive your own key to the front door so no problems with coming back late in the evening. the owner also agreed to keep our bags for the whole day as...

Good place, if you are looking for a budget hotel. Shared bathroom and no breakfast, but everything is clean. Don't except much, but it's good enough to sleep and keep your stuff in a safe place. The rooms are small but ok for the money.

I travelled with a friend and we wanted a hostel located in the center. The hostal enebral's location is perfect, walking distance to most places. However the receptionist doesn't speak a word of English so it was tricky. The room was tiny, enough to sleep. But there was no wind or fresh air coming in and the ventilator did not...

Good service, although the people who run the hostel do not speak much Spanish! (This was not a problem for us as we are Spanish students!) It was in a great location in Malasaña, close to several metro stations which enable you to get around the city easily. The room was very basic, with no air conditioning, only a fan...

WHAT A SCAM! I stayed here for a few nights in October. I booked through hotels.com and was double charged by the hotel. I mentioned this to the hotel owner when I arrived and he said he would be processing the refund on November 1. I never received the refund and contacted Hotels.com a number of times who made efforts...

My boyfriend and I recently stayed here for 6 nights at the end of May. We had a lovely stay here. The room was small but didn't need it to be any bigger, we had room to move around, plus all we really needed it for was to sleep in. Towels were provided and changed and there was a window...

Staying in Malasana

Neighbourhood Profile
Malasana
Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair, narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents, and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as many other parts of the city, but this only adds to the Malasaña edge. Shops and bars here range from hippie-crunchy to upscale trendy, and on weekends, the streets are bustling around the clock as the nightlife progresses from dinner to bar to disco to late-night food. On the west side of the neighbourhood is the subdistrict called Conde Duque, named after a large pink fort in its center that has been converted into a cultural center for exhibitions and performances. Prettier yet just as edgy, this intimate corner of Malasaña is home to a young international community.
