We booked this hotel based on the reviews and to our surprise it was even better! We liked everything about this hotel! This is a remodeled hotel, very comfortable in the middle of the city, close to everything. SUPER CLEAN, great breakfast, comfortable bed and room. The employees (Henry, Antonio and Elusfa) made you feel at home and part of...

Booked as flight/hotel package through Expedia. Stayed four nights during solo visit to Madrid. Double room for single use was large and comfortable, with great bed! Shower was good, but the design results in water escaping onto the outer floor as well. Room faced the street, with floor to ceiling windows but had good curtains to block morning light. Small...

Booked last minute, little research 3 nights after a southern Spain tour. Rooms are small, but fresh and clean with everything you need considering you really only sleep there. Let's call it minimalistic including the entrance and foyer however all the staff were just great. Breakfast included and more than enough to set you on the path for a good...

This hotel, was great value for money. It was 5 minutes walk from plaza mayor. We had a room not facing the street. It was tranquility personified. The staff were very friendly. The buffet breakfast great. You could help yourself to hot tea coffee whenever you liked. The reception was first rate. Truly fantastic.

I traveled to Madrid solo a few weeks ago and stayed here in a single room. The room itself was sparsely decorated, but I didn't really plan on staying in the room all that much anyway. The hotel is just a 2 minute (or less) walk from the Tirso de Molina station. It is also quite close to Plaza Mayor....

My boyfriend and I stayed here one night when we stopped over on our way from Marrakech back to the US. It is great for the price and for the location. It is very close to Cava Baja (street with lots of good places for tapas and wine) which was great, as we were able to get some really delicious...

I stayed three nights here with my 15-year-old son. The hotel is very close to Plaza Mayor and del Sol. The people working there were very kind and helpful. The hotel room was fine: pretty tiny (two single beds right next to each other with room to walk around them, and a bathroom), comfortable, clean. The breakfast was not amazing,...

Just returned from an 12 night stay in this small boutique hotel.Centrally located within walking distance of many major sites & close to Metro. Well appointed top floor room with street view & clean bedding & towels every day. Good buffet breakfast & tea & coffee throughout the day. Staying in La Latina

Neighbourhood Profile
La Latina
La Latina is a charming neighbourhood with two unique personalities. At first glance, it’s distinctly old-world, with narrow streets weaving a maze among charming stone buildings in sunny, bright colors like yellow and pink. The other side of La Latina is characterized by a young population and a bohemian vibe, as evidenced by a dynamic and evolving selection of new bars, shops, coworking spaces, and other businesses popping up in the area. In the northern part of the neighbourhood, the Cava Alta and Cava Baja streets constitute the tapas center of Madrid, where each age-old restaurant serves up distinctive specialties like huevos rotos and patatas bravas. Locals have come here for generations to while away hours over drinks and tapas with friends. On Sundays and public holidays, the streets to the south of La Latina metro station transform into a giant open-air market full of locals sifting through tent after tent of art, apparel, and antiques. Any day of the week, the intriguing blend of the traditional and the hip make the streets of La Latina worth exploring.
