This place is totally worth it for the location. Easy walking distance to many attractions in Madrid and it’s a neighborhood full of life with tons of cafes, restaurants, juice bars, supermarkets, clothes shopping etc. WiFi ok. Very clean room. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom....More
Only spent 1 day in Madrid but the hotel was comfortable and pleasant. The woman at the front desk was nice and offered a good recommendation for the day's outing. It is a basic hotel, no frills but close to the main street and I...More

Amazing Hostal, staff extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms were great, and very clean. Best location ever, right in the middle of Madrid. Definitely would return and stay here again. We loved it! We could walk everywhere and lots of restaurants close by!
We loved everything about this place. It's very close to all the attractions in the center city of Madrid, with charming restaurants and shops right outside. It's right next to a beautiful plaza, Pedro Zorollo, with a little cafe and places to just sit and...More
Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses
here are explicitly racy in their signage. From the rainbow flags to the signs above the entrances of its many funky bars, to the date spot restaurants, Chueca is a vibrant and colorful place. It's always interesting to explore the different corners of Chueca by day, and by night, the area becomes a major nightlife destination when the clubs open their doors.
