Stayed for 2 nights as we drove our way through Northern Spain. Staff was friendly and helpful, spoke English. Rooms are somewhat dated, but very clean and comfortable. Not spacious. Good shower. Bed was hard, but nice linens and strong wifi. Lovely grounds in back with a large bird cage filled with finches. Basic breakfast buffet was included. Parking was...

I checked out of this hotel this morning and spent 3 wonderful days. I was checked in and brought to my room by very friendly staff. The room was spotless and every thing worked. I had breakfast each day and there was a great selection. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Karl

This is quite an unusual hotel as its built in an old building with some new rooms added. At first it's quite hard to navigate around but the rooms are quite nice - we had a superior room with a view out the back. There is a nice lounge and bar area with outside seating. Staff were helpful and there...

A brilliant hotel for a short or longer stay in Santiago. All staff were excellent, most helpful and accommodating. The rooms were spacious, airy, very clean, well equipped, quiet and relaxing. The breakfasts and dinners were of good quality and tasty. The garden added to the ambience and was a great place to relax with a book or food after...

This was my last hotel after walking for 5 days from Sarria to Santiago. Booked through Caminoways.com, this was a beautiful and luxurious end to my camino - sumptuous bed linen, beautiful rooms and bathrooms (I suspect, all unique) complete with honesty bar, and wonderful staff. On my return to Santiago, I will definitely stay here again!

This is a very friendly hotel close to the Santiago Market and the rest of the citycenter. We stayed in the old building. Rooms are not very big, but okay. Comfortable beds. Bathroom was small but convenient. Good breakfast. Beautiful garden, where you can relax! A good place to stay while in Santiago de Compostela!

We arrived in Santiago tired and exhausted from our walk along the Camino de Santiago. What a pleasure it was to end up at Virxe de Cerca. Our room was a small suite with a little sitting area in front of the bedroom and it opened to a charming little garden. Our room gave us plenty of space to spread...

This hotel is in an old monastery so the building is very atmospheric. Rooms are spacious and well-equipped in a motel sort of setting. Good breakfasts and friendly, helpful staff. Well located just a few minutes' walk into this lovely city.
