Positive points: Hotel is near beach and town centre and all the bars. Excellent wifi - brand new routers installed on all floors. Receptionist is a very friendly, helpful, multilingual chap. Breakfast included (which is good for a 2 star, many of the alternatives don't offer it) Double glazing to keep out street sound. I had huge bathroom (room 102)... More

I was looking for somewhere central yet quiet for a short break last week. From other reviews this looked promising. I wasn't disappointed. It is a lovely little hotel and the room was spotless. Of all the hotels I know in Sitges this represents the best value. Breakfast was simple and didn't have the variety you'd expect from a 5... More

Great small local hotel right in the middle of the center. Close to all the bars, clubs, beach, and restaurants. Was there during the Bear Week and was nice to be so close to where the events were happening, able to have a shower, dinner, change, and not have a long walk or bike ride back and forth to town.... I would have given this hotel 5 stars had the breakfast been better. Very basic continental breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and it was lovely have a terrace overlooking the street. The staff were very helpful and kindly lent us a brolly during a rainy evening. This was our second visit to Sitges and we stayed Hotel El Cid the... More

The hotel is in a central location close to shopping area yet in a quiet road. Staff are friendly staff and the breakfast is nice. The hotel has wifi and a computer with internet. Love the fact that the room had a small bar fridge and micro wave. Furniture has an old authentic local touch.

Just let Montserrat after a weeks stay and would say for the price we paid was great value for money. Central location with plenty of shops close by, 5 mins walk to the seafront. Room was basic but had good facilities including air con, microwave, tea, coffee and refrigerator. Breakfast is continental with plenty of refreshment and friendly service. If... More

If your budget is tight but you are still looking for a clean, quiet and friendly place to stay then this fits the bill! The room was basic and small, but very clean with a small but well services bathroom. Well worth every penny! The tv worked as did the wifi in the room. The staff after 7pm didn't speak... More

In general there are no nice and cheap hotels in Sitges. The realy good hotels are very expensive. In general you have to deal in all the hotels in Sitges with the fact that you will hear your neighbors and that the hotels are old. But in the Montserrat you will find a good breakfast, good beds and a AC... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. Our only dissapointment was the size of the room which was very small and only half a cupboard to hang things. If you can live out of a small suitcase then this is fine. Our bed was very comfortable and our benefit is that we had a... More
