Stayed here in early October, and drove into the city, and with one small hiccup - extra circuit of the block, found the hotel and car parking facilities without GPS or even a city map - tribute to Spanish sign posting... Hotel is perfect in terms of location, and is all the other reviews outlined. Loved the short walk to...

This hotel ticks all the boxes. For location, style, cleanliness, friendliness, it has it all. The restaurant is also excellent and tremendous value. The food is delicious and it is popular with hotel guests and locals, always a good sign. There is free wi-fi, and also free loan of a laptop for guests. All in all - superb!

Very warm welcome for our recent stay at Hotel Cuitat de Girona. We opted for a Nord 1901 room, across the cobbled lane from the main building and with access to the swimming pool . The room was quiet and faultless with clean modern facilities. We welcomed the use of the the swimming pool and courtyard area - after exploring...

The Ciudad de Girona is a very pleasant modern hotel. Good bedrooms with ample space and fine showers. The staff are helpful and pleasant. It's in probably the best location in Girona. You can walk from the train or bus station, the old town is just across the river and shps and restaurants are all around. We'll certainly be back....

We've just returned from spending a few days in Girona. The hotel is very central in the city, perfectly placed for the tourist area of the old city - everything within easy walking distance. There are lots of small cafes and bars, along with restaurants close by. The rooms are fairly minimal by design, simple decoration and furnishing, but comfortable...

We stayed over at this ideally located hotel for a night before a fortnight's holiday at a villa on the coast. The airline's limited departure days enabled us to spend an enjoyable 24 hours exploring this lovely city from a great base within walking distance of all the attractions. It was easy to arrange two inter connecting rooms for ourselves...

We stayed in this hotel on a room only basis which was ideal as there are numerous restaurants and cafes in every direction on leaving the hotel. The hotel couldn't be better located, straight on from the hotel for about 100 yards takes you over a pedestrain bridge into the main tourist and shopping areas but, equally, turning right or...

The website had led us to think that this was an interesting "boutique style" hotel. In reality its a standard small-rooms boxy European city centre hotel, with modernist style furnishings - that's it. Not bad, all clean, but nothing special. Basically the place is totally lacking in atmosphere - which is fine, but rather different from the way it advertises...

Found this hotel to be excellent. On a quiet side street, but very close to the old town and to a lovely square full of restaurants, bars and (when we were there) a Christmas market. The room was spacious, clean and quiet, while the desk staff were friendly and helpful with our queries. A great base for exploring the town.

Clean, modern, hotel and great value - especially if you have been staying in Barcelona before. Its only a few hundred yards from the center of the old city - and if you haven't ever been here its a beautiful city.
