Yes, it's basic, but the room is clean, the bathroom is modern, the bed is comfortable, the lady cation is good (c.12 mins walk into town)

You should be able to get to Barcelona on the train in about 1 hour but I'm not sure about the airport. If you are time limited, you may be better getting a taxi. The city tour "hop on and off" bus in Barcelona is worth using if you're not sure where you want to go.
