Though I do live in Barcelona, I once in a while spend weekends in this hostel just for the atmosphere. The hostel is clean, the staff I got to know in the mean time, rooms are secured and there is a locker for every traveler. Breakfast is included, but quite basic. There is free internet, although the wifi signal is...

Last stop on our europe travels and by far the best. Security was tip top you were given a fob to enter the hostel, then your room and it was also for your personal locker which was super secure. Everywhere was super clean, even though the kitchen was a little smelly but still not bad! Breakfast was free in the...

Good Location, Good price, quiet rooms, even though near to busy road, inside it is quiet. WiFi is available and the staff we met was very helpful. I travelled with 2 other friends and all of us liked it and we recommend it.

We checked into the private double with ensuite bedroom on top level and found it to be very comfortable and quiet. The bed was really big and comfortable and room had air con. The staff were super helpful despite being faced with question after question from travelers. They always appeared to be genuinely concerned with giving you the best advise....

Staying in Montjuic

Neighbourhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colourful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
