Amazing location, 1 min. to La Rambla. Personnel was very friendly, breakfast was filling enough for eu standards. Room was comfortable and bigger than I expected. We liked so much this hotel. The only thing that I didnt like is the poor wifi. A stronger wifi would be better. Would stay again. Highly reccommended...

This little hotel is amazing value, and the staff couldn't be more helpful. It's very central, between Catalunya and Universitat. Loads of little local places to eat nearby, and just a 5 minute walk from the Ramblas (if you can bear the crowds there). We asked for a quiet room, and whilst the "view" wasn't up to much, we weren't...

Excellent hotel in a great location in Barcelona. - Free bottled water was a very nice touch!! - It is close to the train station and the sea, with lots of nice restaurants and shops on your door step. - The hotel itself was very spacious and clean with a restaurant downstair that had a good atmosphere and buffet breakfast.

We had a very nice room on the 5th floor of this nice clean and modern hotel. Everything was good and staff very friendl. BUT !!!!!! In the night it was extremly noisy. Not enough that people coming home from nightlive made noisy till about 2h in the morning, at 4h the public services started to clean the street and...

Stayed here just after Christmas. Very friendly and helpful staff. Looked for a room facing the street, to see the activity in the morning etc Yes it is noisy, but not enough to disturb our sleep when we closed the window. Internal rooms away from street obviously will be quieter Spotless clean, nice buffet breakfast to start and again helpful...

We last stayed in this hotel in May 2016 and returned for a weekend break in December. All the excellent features that we enjoyed in our first visit are still in evidence - clean comfortable room, good breakfast and very friendly and efficient reception personnel. This time, because we were staying over the weekend, the hotel suggested that a room...

I stayed here for 4 nights for work (who book for me). I was pleased to see the location central but 5 mins from ramblas and close to a restaurant I really like. Hotel is simple ( no bar or restaurant but who needs this in central Barcelona). I am a light sleeper but I found it very very noisy....

I had some problems with the booking, they cancelled my reservation the day I was supposed to arrive, when I saw the e-mail I was in the airport. I sent a short e-mail that I'd come anyway. When I arrived the problem was solved, I got a room. My parents who had another reservation had to go to another hotel...

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
