Last minute booking for a cheap getaway we chose Boqueria purely on price.
Although quite basic the rooms were very clean and well serviced,
Situated in La Rambla mean you have great access to the Gothic quarter and within easy walking distance to public transport...More
Easy to find, helpful staff, cheap and cheerful. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy, the wifi is great, the TV works, the shower works, you cannot fault the location! People slate La rambla for being too busy/noisy etc but seriously what do you...More
This was our 10th place we booked for our spanish trip. Unfortunately this was the most expensive and not the good one. The position might sound perfect (it is) but we couldn't sleep ( you have a feeling that the windows are open, how loud...More
Las Ramblas is sooooo overrated. I would never stay on that road again. Your better off staying in Raval or near to the beach - somewhere a little off the beaten track.

Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-metre boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and
appetising selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
