We booked this hotel a few days before, and got a fantastic deal. From when we checked in the staff (particularly Pedro) were very friendly and helpful. We were asked if we wanted a terrace, which we gladly accepted as it was a real bonus...More
Cosy hotel with clean rooms and friendly reception. The bar is not part of the hotel so cannot be transferred to your hotel bill.
The environment is pretty calm so no - during the weeks I was here - no loud people on the streets....More
Lovely hotel in a great location in Santa Antoni, there are alot of road works going on which you will hear from front room. This is the only downside as rooms are lovely, great shower and restaurant and bar are good. Great local restaurants nearby....More
Excellent room. Up dated shower & water closet. Queen bed was very comfortable. Hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Classic old elevator works but for those who are skeptical of it use the modern one.
Spent one night here. I was happy with the hotel, room, and the great restaurant/bar down below. However, all the streets were torn up surrounding the hotel (a street beautification project in progress). Will be much better once complete.
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
