Sorry didn’t deive in Barcelona so not sure about the parking or the fees for it. But yes, if you are not planning to go outside Barcelona, you may not necessarily need a car. The location is very good, with metro start only 2-3 mins walk away. We did use local taxi, which was very affordable as well.
We had three different rooms, two had bathtubs and one had a shower. Send an email to the hotel requesting a room with a bathtub, they are very responsive via email.
