After seeing the pictures of this hotel on their website I was highly impressed and decided to book a suite for my family and I. When I got to the hotel I was horrified. The sheets are cheap and scratchy, the bunk bed for the kids is broken and the children and the parents share a room. The mattress is...

We took an apartment for 5 people. The pictures in the website is very misleading. You see the 1 bedroom, but you don't really see and no one really tells you that attached to it, in the same space is the double bedroom. No privacy what so ever. The fifth bed, is in the kitchen with old ugly sofa. The...

We chose the Hotel trough internet. We never have been there before. The impression when we got there was very good. We had a clean room (but don't forget to put the sign to clean your room), people where friendly and the coffee in the morning was great. the only point that we were not so happy was that we...

It's a good hotel in very good spot and best in Barcelona. The best thing is that the hotel is also right on the edge of the Gothic Quarter, lots of narrow cobbled streets which open up onto little squares with quirky cafes, bars & shops etc.The room was ok. Comfortable and plain. The bathroom was roomy with a good hot...

Enter of the small street Boqueria 25 metres down from La Ramblas. Almost opposite the famous Boqueria markets. Enter into the reception area which leads you to the beautiful gardens and relaxed bar outside. Quiet and private from the hubbub of the area outside. The room overlooking the garden was rather small but otherwise OK. Bed was comfortable and bathroom...

I stayed here with my boyfriend for 3 nights in November. The location was what made it so perfect. Walking distance, literally 30 seconds from main strip of Las Ramblas. This is busy, quite touristy, lots of places to eat, drink and also great for people watching. The hotel is walking distance from the Placa de Catalyuna. This area has...

The hotel itself is charming and in a great part of the city. It's well kept, has character and the staff are friendly. Afternoon drinks in the hotel bar courtyard were lovely. The rooms however are terrible, we know because we had to change rooms when the 'super hyrdro shower' simply didn't work and it was aparently acceptable for management...

Nice hotel, great location. However the beds leave you with a back ache. High tech showers that don't work, wobbly floor, not enough pillows. 3* at a push maybe. Won't be visiting again. The best point were the staff, very friendly.

Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
