Great price. Great location in El Born. Nice modernist design in the lobby and rooms. The room was attractive. The bathroom was beautiful and functional. My room had two balconies and opened onto a picturesque street in the old quarter, but was plenty quiet. Probably in part because the french doors were new double pane glass. The bed was a...

Recently stayed at this Hotel with my girlfriend. It's in a perfect position in Barcelona. You're not too far from the beach or gothic quarter. The hotel itself is very nice inside, with comfy beds after a lot of walking and a good shower. Didn't experience any of the apparent noise that some people found... The reception staff were great!!...

I stayed for one night with my brother. We arrived quite late and left quite early next morning so I have not many points to raise as we basically just slept. Anyway, I was pretty amazed by this hotel as it has many positive aspects: - the location is just perfect, 5 to 10 mins walking from the Barrio Gotico....

Stayed here over the weekend for the half marathon, staff were helpful with all of our queries. The room was clean and tidy, the bar staff were brilliant particular Carlos and the breakfast more than filled the gap

Only stayed one night but was perfect from start to finish. Updated and clean room, comfy bed, and fantastic location with much to do and see nearby. They let us check in early and check out late for free. Rooftop pool/deck was comfortable,& would be sensational in warmer months!! Definitely recommend!

Went as a group of 13 English guys. Booked 5 months previously and email from Judit from the hotel arrived early explaining payment prior to arrival. Although booked on a reservation site that means you pay nothing until you arrive and cancel within 24 hrs, Judit was reassuring why they had to have payment a week before for such a...

Stayed here for a short break with a group of friends for a weekend. It was perfect for our needs as a base to explore the city and socialise in the evening. It is based in the gothic part of the city which has a great atmosphere full of tight, narrow, old streets. Perfectly placed to explore on foot, 5-10...

One word........perfect!! Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for a long weekend on 28th January and everything about it was amazing. Check in was smooth and friendly and our room was great. Nice touch with the free water bottles at the end of each corridor. The roof top terrace was wonderful with great views of the city. Breakfast was delicious...

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
