Detailed Reviews
This Hotel was booked to Accommodate our Group of 9 Adults, all of different sensible age Groups, on a 3 Night Stag Party event, with many activity and events booked to suit all our tastes over the Weekend Break Away. On arrival after some Discussion and Confusion over the Amount of Rooms which had been booked, due to 2 of our Party backing out of the Trip at short notice, a resolve was reached and we were booked into Rooms on the 5th Floor.Every Floor Level has a Fridge offering Free Complimentary Bottles of Water, which is a good thing not to worry about, if like myself you like to take a Bottle of Water to your Room after an Evening out, and without having to pay over the odds for it. The Room was Basic but Spacious and Consisted of Twin Beds pushed together as a Double,Flat Screen Wall Mounted TV, Dressing Table, Bathroom consisting of Shower over the Bath, with Toilet and Bidet and Plenty of Hot running Water. Although we did not take Meals at this Hotel,we did when having a few Drinks during the Afternoon, order some Hot Nibbles with Breads, Chicken,Calamari, Ribs, and Meats, etc and this was more than Reasonable in Price. There is also a Rooftop Terrace which we also made use of and even at this time of Year it was lovely to relax in the Sun on the Rooftop, with a Tray Full of nice Cold Beers as Refreshments, and some Nibbles to take our Hunger Pangs away before taking our Evening Meal. There is also a small Pool on the Terrace, which can at times be in the shade and feel quite cool. The Hotel itself though is in quite a Central Location to most Bars and Restaurants including La Rambla,s and all in all we were all satisfied with our stay here.I also found that being on the Higher Floor I was placed in a Room which appeared to be facing the Rear of the Hotel reasonably quiet, and also found the Bed quite Comfortable.I must also send a Special Thank You to the Barman,we often referred to as Sam, that often looked after us Delivering our Food and Drinks on Occasions to the Rooftop Terrace.Well Worth a Stay over,if ever the possibility of visiting Barcelona is on your List.

Hotel is in very good location. Clean nice, good customer service. The room are very closed to each other so you can hear anyone talking or if they come very late from party/soccer game.
They give free water. The breakfast does not worth 10 Euro per person. You can get for less money same thing few steps away in local cafe's. Supermarket near by is also great and you can buy fruits/vegetables and food for much cheaper.

This hotel is situated in the trendy Al Born area of Barcelona- easy to walk to the beach and there are plenty of good bars , bakeries, restaurants and things to do (attractions museums etc) around.
The hotel are super friendly and ready to help with anything.
The rooms are a bit dated but well sized and clean.
The rooftop bar and pool area is nice to chill out and escape the heat for a bit.
There is an optional breakfast for around 8 euros, another option to consider is to walk around the area as there are many good bakeries on the same street as the hotel.

Simple hotel, perfect to visit the city. The location is perfect : all the main visits are feasable by walk.
The rooftop is great and the swimming pool area also (even though we didn't use the swimming pool because the weather was too cold)
Besides that, the hotel is not very well decorated, the hallways are very dark and not really welcoming.
The courtyard rooms are also very dark with a small window and a view on a wall.
Rooms on the street have much more light but are probably more noisy.
The room is ok but not very convenient : no place to store anything ... No drawers anywhere, not even in the bedside table.
Same in the bathroom no shelve, no drawers but a useless bidet which takes a lot of space in the small bathroom.
Lastly: the mattress were SO NOT comfortable ! So hard.
The wifi was pretty decent as we were able to watch a movie on Netflix with it.

We stayed for a long weekend in November. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist. The hotel is modern, clean and a great location in El Born. Plenty of restaurants and bars, right in the gothic quarter and about 15 mins from the ramblas.
The bathroom had toiletries like soaps, shampoo, toothpaste & toothbrush which is great but we’d taken our own as we didn’t realise. The maid came everyday and freshened up room. Only thing I would say is the walls are thin and you can hear the rooms next door but it didn’t impact us as we are early risers anyway. The rooftop is nice there’s a small pool and plenty of seating, we bought some sangria and pizza the sat on the roof the one night. Would definitely stay again.

Located in an area of the Gothic Quarter, 15 minutes walk from Placa Catalunya where you can take the metro bus and visit Barcelona with tranquility and comfort. Close to Barceloneta along La Rambla, surrounded by useful commercial activities to satisfy every need including the Santa Caterina market, the comfortable and clean hotel offers a fair compromise €55 per night. Helpful multilingual staff.

Pros
Great location
Nice rooftop terrace
Staff were friendly
Pool
Cons
Our aircon leaked very badly and when we reported this, they said they would arrange for some towels to be put down to soak up the huge wet puddle
Beds are extremely uncomfortable. They are rock hard and hurt your joints
This hotel is situated in a fantastic area. It has lovely rooftop terrace. But the rooms are a real disappointment. It’s a shame as it could be so much better.

The staff were nice enough but the room itself (double room) was lacking. While I am ok with plain, this room was less than. The beds were like sleeping on wood planks. The shower curtain was moldy which grossed me out. The hotel advertises AC however that is only during certain months. It was 60 degrees outside but closer to 70 in the room and when you take a shower it was like being at a sauna in a not good way. The location is good and very walkable to most everything you need including metro. They have a refrigerator in the hall with free cold bottled water which was also nice. I can work with average but this was slightly below in quality so would not return.

After what seemed to be a very smooth booking process we arrived at the hotel for our check in. Due to the evening hours in the slightly less than ideal location the doors had been locked. We were met with an aggressive man who refused to let us into the reception in spite of our booking. He was unprofessional and confrontational which was very confusing! He eventually said we were too late so he wouldn’t be allowing entry and Good luck to try to find another hotel now. We were left completely on the street at midnight with our luggage and nowhere to sleep. I truly hope this horrible experience does not happen to anyone else - plenty of other options that are absolutely

This hotel is in the gothic district which is a great location. Plenty to do and see close by. Hotel is older and it shows. Our room was very small and had twin beds pushed together. Shower was adequate but water temp would spike to really hot and then really cold... very frustrating. Staff was not overly friendly and seemed almost annoyed with questions

No, my room didn't have. I was in a single room.
I read them too and was worried but didn't see it run down. Looked upgraded and I had a single bedroom, new bathroom and furniture.
As far as I'm aware yes.
