First of all location: Barcelona is a large city with a central area that is very spread out. This hotel is central to quite a lot of tourist attractions - 15 minutes at a very leisurly meandering to the Sagrada Familia, a block away from La Casa Mila. It is also 1 block from Paseo Gracia - which is one...

Please do not confuse this hotel address with the Las Ramblas! This place is a great value but you need a cab (5 euro) to get downtown. Tiny room but great terrace from which to eat your toast in the morning. The people at the desk do not speak ANY english so bring your pictionary skills!!

Suite Gaudi Barcelona is a good place to stay if you don't have too many needs. The room is very simple, but everything was quite clean and the shared bathroom was exceedingly clean as well. The included breakfast was also simple, but good and got us energy to get out again during the day. The best part of the room...

My decision to book this hotel was heavily influenced by the very positive tripadvisor reviews. My experience during the six day stay bears out the absolute value of real user reviews. I agree with everything other reviewers have said about Suite Gaudi (with the obvious exception of the one that couldn't find it). This is a really good place to...

Our family of 4, including 2 teenaged sons stayed here for 5 nights and can't say enough about the great time we had here. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast and the view from the balcony. Very central and easy to walk to all the sights, lots of Gaudi close by. The chocolate shop and...

I have just got back from a weekend in Barcelona and just had to tell everyone how good Suite Gaudi is. The trip was organised to celebrate a family birthday, and the whole trip was a surprise. The hotel staff were brilliant, especially Monti as they kept everything a secret. We could not fault the friendliness of the staff -...

First of all I followed the directions to the hotel sent to me by the hotel administration. I took the train from the airport and followed their directions. Not only was it very simple, it only took about a 7 minute walk from the train station in the city to the hotel. There is a small sign on the door...

My wife and me made a reservation to stay at this Hotel in the beginning of October/06. We arrived at the Hotel door around 6pm. For our surprise, we rang their doorbell and called them on the phone for 2 hours, never having being answered! We asked their neighbours and staff in the nearby commerce wondering if the Hotel was...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
