We stayed with group of friend long time ago and all i remember is just room was cold. I slept with my jacket and they had breakfast service which is only good thing in the hotel. Cleanliness was not really good.

I stayed here after booking flights a week in advance on a spur of the moment thing. One of the cheapest hostels I could find as I was on a budget. The staff were incredibly friendly, to the point of helping me with my Spanish and Catalan and advising us on nearby bars and restaurants. The room I stayed in...

me and my sister decided on a last minute trip to barcelona and since we wanted to pay more towards attractions and food we decided to find the cheapest we could find which was this hostel. i agree with the other comments in saying that it wasn't very cleaning, the showers we're tiny and had no locks and got very...

My friend and I have been staying in hostels for the past few weeks all through Spain and France. The number one issue is the guy that works here comes across nice at first and has great English, but definitely has anger management problems. We are two 20-something girls and today we came back to our room to find a...

After booking this place last minute based on price I realized what horrible mistake I had made, The staff here are not helpfull at all, the faclities are lacking. The shower is not design for a normal sized person and there is no privacy to speak of in regards to the showers, One power point for a room of 6...

Like other reviews I would add weight to this just being an overall poor option. It feels very sterile. It probably was a hospital and the bright graffiti style makeover makes it even less like a home or hotel. All facilities are poor but do exist, breakfast, showers, toilets, pay lockers. I found a guy at reception that was very...

We turned up at this hostel which for one was a lot further out of the main hustle and bustle of where you want to be. We were obliged to pay upfront for all of our nights stay before even looking at out room. It was horrific - our dorm mates had been sick everywhere and there were booze bottles...

I stayed at this hostel, but i tried to stay at a single room but couldn't , so they put me at a dorm but i was alone there. It was scary, probably an old hospital that's now a hostal. The bathroom was horrible, i couldn't stand taking a shower there with the courtains...incredible and some guys taking the shower...

This is definitevly the dirtiest hostel I have ever seen. Just filthy, dirty, and disgusting. Absolutely NO noise insulation, sleeping without earplugs is absolutely impossible. The served breakfast is pure [--]. AVOID THIS DAMN HOSTEL AT ALL COST.

This hostel is rubbish. The rooms are not ventilated well, bathroom is TINY and so mouldy - i actually felt like i was dirtier coming out of the shower. The mgmt had told the other people in the dorm I was staying in that they had it to themselves their whole stay. Needless to say, when they came in late,...

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
