It's location was perfect, near the MACBA, near the gothic barri, las Ramblas and several other tourist attractions. At the corner, towards the ramblas, there is a tipical Barcelona bar where we had a nice breakfast every morning. The hotel people were nice, accomodating and...More
We stayed at Hotel Marvi last week for 4 nights. Good things: very good location, 5 minutes away from Pl.Catalunya and La Rambla. Very easy to find the hotel coming from the airport with Aerobus, get out at the Pl.Universitat, 3 min.away. We received a...More
We stayed at Hotel Marvi at the end of June for a week. Our room was on the 5th floor and was at the front of the building - which meant we had a window. I'm not 100% sure on this but the hotel staff...More
A clean comfortable hotel right in the heart of Barcelona with easy walking to La Ramble. The airport bus stops 200m awal although you have a slightly longer walk to Placa Catalonia to catch it back.
I would highly rate the hotel.

Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.

Hello, I am not a hotel administrator, and I have no idea how much they charge for a taxi pick up. I travelled from Girona airport, and I can tell you a shuttle round trip ticket from Girona airport is about 21euro or so. You will come to the bus station (final stop) and it will take you a 2 minute walk to get to metro station which is 3 stops away from Universitat metro station which is in front of the hotel. There will be a shuttle from the airport at that hour, I also came late I remember. If metro is closed you may take a taxi from the bus station to the hotel, it will cost you about 8 euro + tips. Enjoy your trip, Barcelona is so wonderful!
