The hotel is located in a relatively convenient area with the metro being a minute away. We arrived late at night and were greeted by a rude man, Antonio Caballero. We firstly didn't get the room we asked for, returned to get it changed and were then given a room with no door between the main room and the bathroom....

The B-Hotel has a apt name for the quality of hotel, B! Whilst very modern and overly styled at times it is very plesant. Designed to compete with 5* hotels for style, it is let down by the poor eating facilities and attention to detail. It's location is also not the most fantastic , though the 50yd walk to Espayna...

I could not say enough about the service at this hotel! The reception went well out of their way to help me and made certain my stay was a very pleasant experience. The hotel is located right across from the Fiera (perfect for trade shows). In the adjacent square (Plaza Espana) you can board a tourist bus for 20 Euro...

My husband and I stayed at the B hotel between Christmas and New Year. When we arrived the very polite receptionist apologised that there would be a slight delay in checking in due to a large party arriving just ahead of us. She then arranged for a free drink to be brought to us in the bar, to apologise. The...

Before you book this hotel, you need to ask yourself what you want. If you want a hotel that has lots of bars, restauraunts and shops within easy walking distance, then this is not the hotel for you. If however you want a hotel that is close to the metro and therefore easy to get anywhere is barcelona quickly then...

This hotel is highly overrated. For $270 a night, I expected much more. The location of this hotel sucks. No restaurants around nor shopping. It is quite a ways from the La Ramblas (the mail restaurant and shopping area). Also the rooms dont even have closets for clothes. How ridiculous is that. For $270 we got a room that faces...

We stayed in this hotel from 31st October 2007 to 4th November 2007. Overall, I would rate the hotel as being very good value for money. It is a modern hotel (opened 2005) with an interesting design. The rooms are quite large, with a large bathroom/WC area. Although I don’t necessarily expect this in a hotel, on our visit, we...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
