This was my first time visiting Spain and I'm so glad I chose this hotel. The location was central, making it easy to find all the sight seeing areas, most within walking distance. On arrival the manager Torky was really nice and gave me a map of the area, showing me where all the focal points in Barcelona were. He...

Our flight was delayed an hour and a half but we still had no trouble checking in even though the reception has particular hours. Torky was very warm and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. I booked an economy double room knowing it would be off the street with (hopefully) less noise. Just a little rattle of the metro...

I knew I booked an economic double room...and I didn't complain to Torky, but still I didn't expect to be like this. Dark room, because it was main floor with a window between some walls (strange). we could hear the metro when sitting in the bed, and the neighbours. I suppose the rooms didn't have any sort of maintenance since...

We went as a young couple to visit Barcelona, and didn't want to pay extortionate prices for a hotel for the three nights. We settled on Bella Lola, and when we arrived, we knew we'd made the right choice. The staff are so warm, welcoming and knowledgeable about Barcelona. And the room was clean, spacious and well decorated. That's not...

We had a wonderful time at the hostal. The person who is in charge of the hostal gave us a great welcome and gave us tips about the city. The hostal is in the first floor of an old building and it seems that the floor had been remodeled. It has a ramp so no problem with the luggage. The...

Arrived and checking-in was easy and straightforward. The receptionist kindly provided us with a detailed map, drawing on routes we might wish to take to sightsee, as well as the main route to and from the hotel. We stayed in a room with a terrace which was beautiful, fantastic value for money. The room was clean and we received a...

We stayed at Hostal Bella Luna for 4 nights and we had a great experience! The apartment is in a great location, central to 3 undergrounds and walking distance to a lot of great areas and attractions! The rooms were very clean and the internet worked great, which we found wasnt the case in other places we stayed in Europe!...

Reserved months in advance and stayed 3 nights in May 2014.(E 89/nt) V. small room. Clean. Workable, BUT, the street noise was insane all night. (4 - 5 AM) Fairly central, but lots of walking to various sites. Great place for breakfast across the street. (Buenas Migas) I would try very hard to find a quieter place next time around.

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
