This hostal was simple and effective for my needs as a central, clean place to stay. Check in was fast and the staff friendly, the room was relatively ok (bathroom needed some attention with chipped paint and a chair was a bit dirty) but otherwise it was fine. However I wasn't aware that checkout time was 11.30 am (likely my...

Before our arrival we received several notifications from the hostel, giving us helpful instructions of how to arrive by public transport. The reception is open until 12 at night, which is really good as our flight was delayed and we arrived quite late. The staff was always very friendly and helpful, greeting us every time we entered or left the...

Clean, friendly budget hotel, modern interior. Air conditioned, wifi (connection not always reliable), friendly staff, central residential area. Ten minutes from El Pedrera on Passeig de Gracia, 25 mins to the Ramblas on foot. Nearby bus stops and metro stations. No breakfast provided but numerous small cafés and bakeries in the area.

Great location, very close to gay district, lady from reception didn't speak English but that's not a big deal, rooms very nice and tidy only one issue was that they only give one keys to the room so if you coming with friend you can't leave each other because there is only one keys other then that was good stay...

Well it is a real good spot to base your self in barcelona because it is nicely located in a quiet and safe area (near a hospital) and secondly it is not that far to walk to the station. The staff are very nice and gives you tips on where to go. The room are very clean and newly furnished....

Newly refurbished, nice and clean rooms with excellent bathroom. The place is very cosy with great service from the family that runs it. Location is quite central, so with a short walk you are in the middle of the city, or at the Nou Camp.

This hostel is far better then some hotels I've stayed in. Immaculate rooms, lovely modern ensuite bathroom, with towels and toiletries provided. The communal Kitchen had a fridge, microwave, crockery and coffee machine. There was also a seating area. The staff were fabulous, they provided us with great recommendations of places to visit, eat and drink. I would definitely go back.

We have made a meeting with friends all over Europe and it was great! The hostel has a small shared living room, a small kitchen where you can store things (within the fridge) and the rooms were very clean. You have a SPAR supermarket on the same building. It is not far from city center (by metro is quite easy)....

Stayed here for a long weekend with a group of friends. A great hostel. The rooms were immaculate, and our room (11 - a triple) was very spacious and bright. It has recently been extended and decorated to a very high standard. More like a hotel than a hostel. There was a small kitchen and seating area with Fridge etc...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
