Our room overlooked the Square, which was great to see all the entertainers and people enjoying themselves. The hotel is basic, but clean with fresh linen every day. An adequate breakfast, but not a lot of choice. The breakfast room is a cellar below the hotel and is full of character. The hotel is situated in a central location, just...

Being to Barcelona before, I knew that this location is perfect. It's buzzy and safe, it's in an amazing square with tonnes of restaurants. It was pouring down when we got there, so having a lot of restaurants nearby was great. We got upgraded and given a balcony room. The room was very clean (cleaned everyday) with fresh towels, blankets...

The hotel is at beautiuful and vivid Plaza Reial which means that the Barri Gotic is just around the corner. That gives you plenty opportunities to wander about even in later hours (when staying out of the center I presonally would not risk getting back later at night for the safety reasons). The hotel is basic but it is just...

Nice place to spend a night but I wouldn't want to stay there longer. Location is right in the middle of all the action of La Rumba St.. Counter staff was very friendly and helpful doing the best they could with what they had to make us comfortable.

Small room, old furniture ( maybe from first war), I was deceptioned. Breakfast was not OK, only some croissant and a diluted coffee. No carpets, so bad start to walk around. Very expensive on these conditions, maybe 20 EURO/day can be the right pay.

The hotel it is not updated, it seems you travel 40 rears ago. For this reason, it is not charming, it is old. I found it confortable for my holidays with a 2 y.o.boy. The breakfast area was other story, really charming look as a cellar. Breakfast it is included, you can have: milk & water (hot&cold), cofee, tea, cocoa,...

Great location, basic, but clean. Towels changed daily, lovely hot water. Can be noisy during early hours, depending on the age of other guests staying. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast adequate i.e. cereals, croissants, rolls, muffins, yoghurt, coffee & fruit juice. For a one star hotel no problems. Would stay again next time in Barcelona.

Here for evening meal, wasn't expecting much because it is in a tourist trap but we fancied sitting outside watching the activities in the square. The heaters were great. Was pleasantly surprised by the food. 2 of us had set 3 courses (approx 16 euros ) and one set tapas (approx 15 euros ) all had free alcoholic drink included....

The first impression you get with this hotel is "is this it?" its a very narrow hotel nestled into the corner of Placa Reial. However though, despite its location, the hotel has many flaws. The reception is honestly nothing special, just a front desk and about ten chairs and 4 vending machines literally selling the exact same drinks. Now to...
