Unfortunately, we were disappointed with this hotel. The money spent at this hotel is definitely not worth it. In essence you do not get value for money at this hotel. They don't offer room service, no tea or coffee making facilities etc. However, the staff was nice and helpful.

We used the Andante as a base to explore Barcelona on a 5 day trip. The staff were friendly and always willing to advise on how to get to tourist places. Our room was on the 8th floor. It was clean, bright with a good shower. You could also see the Port from the window. The roof terrace and infinity...

The hotel is great if you want modern parred back rooms. The upside is great quality living space and very clean rooms . Downside is a very limited breakfast offer and the area outside is a bit rundown. I never felt threatened but their are a lot of homeless between the hotel and Las Rambles . overall I would stay...

Very nice hotel. Clean and well designed. The rooms are maybe a bit small, but the central location is definitely a great point. Also, the small swimming pool area - roof top - with a view at Barcelona is quite impressive. Horrible wi-fi coverage at last floors. Good quality - price relation.

Good, basic hotel. Spotlessly clean rooms. Modern facilities. Lovely rooftop area with pool, great for viewing the skyline. My only gripe is that I booked a standard double room for myself and partner and it was actually two twin beds pushed together, not even zipped mattresses. The beds were made up as individual singles (single sheets and duvets), so we...

Stayed here for 4 nights with my husband and our 5 year old son. The hotel is excellent, our room was immaculate and spacious and the staff were extremely polite and helpful, it's also in a great location and close to the main attractions - we would definitely stay here again.

We chose the Andante at the recommendation of some friends and were not disappointed. The hotel is well located, close La Rambla but our rooms faced away from the road so were wonderfully quiet, to the extent that we could keep our windows open at night. The beds were comfortable enough and the rooms were clean, although sparsely furnished. The...

The hotel staff were very polite, spoke English very well and check-in was very efficient. Although the double rooms were overbooked, we were upgraded to a double room with a view on the 8th floor. The rooms felt very safe and secure as you needed a card-key pass to enter the lifts and for all of the doors. The view...

I have stayed at this hotel twice now and had an amazing experience both times. The rooms are clean, modern and bright with great showers. The bed is also extremely comfortable. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The roof deck is lovely, if not a little bit small but gives great views of the city nonetheless. As for location, there...

Stayed here at the end of March 2017. Hotel was very clean and tidy and reception staff were polite .. we were warned about the potential pick-pocketers on the Ramblas upon arrival. The rooms were bright, clean, if not very basic! There were no fridges, or kettles in the room and being British I love my cups of tea in...

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
