Had everything I needed plus nice outdoor terrace. Good central location and therefore value for money. Appeared relatively clean but showers took a while to get hot water and there was no toilet paper

First of all I would like to point out that this is not the first time I've visited a hostel as a place to stay for vacations. In fact, as a broke student, I can surely say that I have been at many different hostels in many different countries and from all the places I have been this has to...

My first experience with hostels. The location is very good, close to Plaça Catalunya and you can easely reach the Catedral or Arc of Triumph by feet. The staff of our first night wasn't there to answer our problems, although he affirmed the reception worked 24 hours, and we had to use a decrepting elevator for many times in vain....

The staff are very friendly. Hostel with a big terrace. Quit quiet. It's just in the town center, so it's pretty amazing. But few customers are pig, and the furniture is dilapidated. It's hard to find the place (look for the number 12, just like it's a simple flat)

Place is old, dirty, holes, trim falling off, electrical wire hanging all over the place, no locks on doors. It should be condemned, highly do not recommend. Location is good but that is all it has going for it. I was given sheets, told to make my own bed, made it, went into living room, came back, another girl claimed...

Stayed in a twin room with my friend, we are both travelling Europe and this was a great budget option for us. We were lucky enough to get a room with balcony that looked straight out onto la ramblas. Within walking distance of the beach (40minutes) and really close to playa de Cataluna where all the bus tours and airport...

The location of this hostel was brilliant, and it had free wifi, that was about all it had going for it. To start with it was difficult to find, only a very small sign on the front door, which we both missed the first time we walked past. Secondly, there was no security at all, the front door didn't even...

We paid nearly 35 Euros per night per person, and that's a good price staying in Barcelona. Also Lullaby Hostel are close to La Rambla just on the corner of Plaza Catalunya. Down on the street are there breakfast places, bars and restaurants. FC Barcelona gift shops and a football pub was on the corner, and a Supermarcado. The room...

Nice stuff and great location. Accomodation own very poor - light only from bedside lamp, fusty, dust everywhere (only tight arround bed not), sheets quite clean. You can accomodate better for the same price.

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
