I had booked hotel and flight through Dial-a-Flight and thought I would get a good deal. i arrived at about 7pm and they gave me a tiny room on the 1st floor with small window in one corner opening into a dark and small ventilating shaft. Very depressing. When I complained they agreed to move me to another room next...

Stayed in the Rialto after recommendations from friends who had been there before. It's in a great location, literally 2 minutes walk from Las Ramblas and the nearest metro station. We got lucky and got a suite when we checked in so we had a separate sitting room to our bedroom which was great. Staff were extremely helpful with any...

Stayed here for 4 nights recently and on the whole pretty happy. The room was fine (although there was a bit of a smell of drains a couple of mornings) and the all-you-can-eat buffet breakfasts were surprisingly good - a lot more variety and substance than just the rolls and cereal that pass for a 'continental' breakfast in many hotels....

Highly Recommended. Stayed only one night but it was clean and comfortable, in fact a very nice and modern decor as opposed to cheap and grotty. Easy to find walking distance down Las Ramblas from the main train station on Placa Catalunya. (Followed advice from this site, walk down Las Ramblas and take a left at KFC - Thanks)

Me and my friend have just returned from three nights in Barcelona, and this hotel in terms of what it offered us both for a location and the friendly and curteous nature of the staff was brilliant.
