The hotel is located about one minute walking from La rambla, close to the famous La Boqaria market. The rooms are ok, closing the window leaves the noise outside. But here ends the PROs. The stuff service is aweful: we arrived at 4pm and our room wasn't ready, the receptaion forgot to give us breakfast tickets so we were shouted...

It was with very low expectations that we arrived to this charming hotel. The room offered to us was very clean, but the view was so-so and we asked to move to a room with a view. "No problem", said the lady in reception, and moved us to a external room, viewing one of the nicest streets in Barcelona. The...

The desk refused almost any request; over four days, we encountered on specific threatening man on both sides of the counter several times, but he was not on staff. The location is prime, the facility could be terrific, towels are coarse, we tolerate construction noises nearby, but staff elevators not responding reflects a much lower class of hotel. It is...

Comfortable bed and quiet. Room features pleasant and all functions. Lack of WIFI (other than stupid sideways screen one in lobby at 2euros for 10 or 15min). Go to MacDonalds 4 mins down street for free wifi. Extortionist rate for room safe which was free in Many other hotels!. No fridge - and at cost of beverages/food in Barcelona this...

Upon arrival, the hotel reception staff informed us that they could no longer accommodate us and we would need to find another hotel. Even though I had the confirmation email with me! It took 2 hours of phone calls before they agreed to let us check in. It was obvious that the hotel had double booked the rooms but they...

The Hotel Rialto has a great location, right in the heart of Barri Gotic. The room we had was clean and well furnished, and we were lucky enough to have a balcony. Breakfast is easy to get at the nearby cafés. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only problems were getting to the hotel - we tried to get...

The Rialto is is an excellent location right in the heart of Barcelona city. It is just off La Rambla and near the Piazza Real with all its restuarants and bars. The hotel rooms are a little small but good enough for what we wanted - a place to rest your weary head after walking around Barcelona all day. They...

There is nothing wrong with this hotel. Make sure you ask for a balcony room though otherwise you feel like you are in an institution. It is cheap and just enough. I prefer the beach though, next time I will stay closer. It is still in walking distance to the beach but it is located right in the middle of...

I stayed at Hotel Rialto with my family in June 2010. The hotel is well located, within walking distance to the famous Rambla street and fairly close to the Metro and bus services.
