Very little sound proofing in this hotel
My friend and I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights on 27th April 2014 and found it very noisy both from other guests and also little sound proofing within the hotel. There was also...More
I was with my wife and infant daughter for 3 nights in Barca this April and I chose to stay at Paral-lel hotel because of its flawless location (a lot of public/tourist transport to everywhere, really!).

The hotel is recently renewed and the rooms are spacious, clean, good bed and perfect internet connection. The bathroom is also big and well organized. Location is ideal, close to the Ramblas, close to Montjuich gardens en close to many good restaurants.

Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colourful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to
this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
