You can see many things around, without to use metro etc.... The location of the hotel is really good. The staff was helpful, and they speak english..... The room of...

Location - Excellent, lower part of Rambla near Columbus Monument. 10-minute walk from Catalunya Plaza where the airport bus terminal is located. Staff - Excellent, cheerful, pleasant, helpful. Breakfast - Excellent, big breakfast room, fresh orange juice, we like the bread selection, attentive staff. Room (401) - Facing Rambla. First of all, the hotel is extremely well-situated - just steps away from the Mirador column (the Barcelona seaside), Placa Real (restaurants, jazz club & lots of fun) and of course on the Ramblas itself and close to the entire old quarter. Even the historic London Bar (102 years old -Hemmingway, Picasso & Miro) is just round the corner! It...

I stayed on the 5th floor, in one of the renovated rooms, and that was acceptable, although very noisy (not from the street or corridors, but from water pipes! It was like my room was being flooded every time the room next door used the loo.) It was not as good as you'd expect considering how much money we were...

Good hotel right in the centre where it's all happening. Good breakfast and good diner. Clean rooms but best of all is the LOCATION. We had a great time during our stay. We had 24hr entertainment right in front of our hotel window over looking the Ramblas.

Stayed for a 5 night break, mainly to see Barca play. Have had a number of similar trips to Barcelona before, this is the first time in this hotel. We had a room at the back of the 9th floor, which had it's own balcony and was looking out over Montjuic. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, breakfast included,...

the Ramblas was centrally located in Barcelona and provided above average accommodation. Being on the back of the hotel, there was no view, but no noise from the Ramblas street. Rooms are fairly basic and there's a good assortment of foods downstairs for breakfast. If you don't want above the top accommodation, this hotel is fine - why would you...

Staying in La Rambla

Neighbourhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-metre boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetising selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
