If you are noise sensitive, DO NOT STAY HERE. It's not the noise of the busy, tourist-packed boulevard in front of the hotel, it's the building's water system. It's old, and the motor that runs it is LOUD and cycles 24/7. It sounds like a...More

We were 6 persons in 3 rooms, all without windows. One room was sprayed with some kind of aerosole proabibly to kill insects. The smell was strong even in the morning after.
Walls was not isolated enough, noices from neighbours even toilet visits.
Booked for two nights pre cruise. Room 816 has no natural light or ventilation, the window/door led onto a shute. It's like being in a box. Rest of hotel dated, reception staff not helpful and breakfast was dreadful. The "safe" area to put your luggage...More

Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-metre boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and
appetising selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.

I took a bus from the airport into the city. It cost me 6 Euros. The last bus stop is in the middle of Barcelona at a big circle. from their you can take a cab to the hotel, which is not so far by car but dont try to walk with all your luggage. At the same circle you can book your hop on hop off bustours. Enjoy!!!!
