This was our 4th stay at this hotel and as on the previos occasions it was excellent. We had a great room overlooking La Rambla and the breakfast was more than adequate. This occasion was an overnight pre-cruise stay for which this hotel is perfect, close to all amenities. We will not hesitate in returning.

An hotel I wouldn't stay a second time. Nevertheless it is in the best place of Barcelona, close to all the tourist sites, on the Rambla near the Gothic quarter. If you just use it to sleep, go ahead. The breakfast is quite good.

We stayed in this hotel in October 2016. This was a pre-cruise stay and for this purpose was suitable. The location has its good and bad points, good because you can walk to most attractions bad because if you have a front facing room you can hear late night revellers. Our party of 3 booked 2 rooms a single and...

Uncontrolled entry of non-guests into hotel including dining room (September 2016). Handbag uplifted at breakfast on 4th day of visit (not just the first day). Great views in all directions from top floor room with terraced balcony. Bad smells in some areas in hotel (but smells common in other parts of Barcelona).

Right on the Ramblas so if you want action you are there. The rooms are small and dingy. No real amenities to speak of and the front rooms are obviously very noisy. Some desk staff were excellent ( eg "Fabio") but others (eg "unnamed wanna be somewhere else woman") were unhelpful to the point of rudeness. At AUD262 for friday...

We got internal room which has internal windows inside square pit. The windows in front of room visible, no white and air able curtain, only heavy ones, but room was stinky, they use old type industrial carpets Sponges dust. Because the humility high in Barcelona and in rainy day, the air in room was stink. The hotel use cheap cleaning...

When I travel on vacation with friends we usually go for 3🌠 hotels, the reason for this is that we barely spend time in it and we just go in late at night to sleep. I have traveled many times and I am a simple not complicated person when it comes to hotels. We arrived at Hotel Ramblas Barcelona on...

Small rooms but must be in back of Hotel to avoid city noise. Can just walk out to convenience of Barcelona in any direction. Great breakfast to start the day-- Helpful staff and good assistance in getting bus tickets and other travel information. Location is the key--amenities are not the reason you stay here. Need major updates.

Rooms are clean with efficient air conditioning, we had a room with a balcony which was lovely. Breakfast was ok but staff kept running out of crockery and cutlery. Our main problem was a refusal to help when my husband had his pocket picked. I was told it was not possible to make calls to our bank from the hotel...

Staying in La Rambla

Neighbourhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-metre boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetising selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
