This was definitely a good location for someone who wants to explore the city. Staffs are nice and helpful. The downside is just you can hear everything from your room, I need to use an earplug to be able to sleep and the breakfast doesn't...More
I thought this hotel was great! Wonderful location, nice staff. Ask for room 261 it has a nice private balcony. The only downside side is the WiFi is very slow. I highly recommend this hotel. It’s just a two minute walk to the Barcelona Cathedral...More

This small hotel is located in the centre of Barcelona. The hotel is clean but the rooms are in need of being refurbished especially the bathrooms. Also the walls must be very thin as you can hear the person next door snoring as well as...More

Stayed here with my partner in May. You literally couldn't pick a better location.
The room was dated but clean and neat. The bed was very comfortable.

With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local
musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.

We arrived to Barcelona Airport and took a taxi to the hotel. I found the taxis to be relatively inexpensive and I took them other times around the city. The metro is also great once we got our bearings but you do have a further walk (from the Placa de Catalunya)- we got a 10 trip card but we were there for a week and you can use it on the buses too. One card can be used for multiple people.
