The reason for not getting 5 stars is simple. The room was not up to 4 star standard. It was in need of at least a little make over. There was not a kettle or tea / coffee facilities. The balcony could have done with a chair and table . One other problem early in the evening there was only...

My husband stayed in the hotel with a friend while they were in Barcelona for the marathon. Hotel was clean and the room was comfortable and the added bonus was close to the start/finish of the marathon. Staff were helpful. Overall a very pleasant stay.

We booked a Superior double room for the weekend we stayed here. It was very clean and comfortable but I'm not sure it was a superior room, although I only saw inside other rooms from the corridor whilst passing. Nothing wrong, just small and nothing special. There was a kettle in the room but no coffee or milk. The air...

I'll start off with the positives, there were nice balconies attached to every room in the hotel which is great when the weather is nice to relax on. Then the negatives, housekeeping were very intermittent on whether they'd clean our room or not, the breakfast area seemed understaffed so the tables were hardly ever turned over, on a busy morning...

Stayed here in late Feb 2017. First visit to Barcelona. Excellent location.....across the road to Sants Station - 15 minutes within reach to all the main spots like Catalunya Square by Metro and The Mercat de Sant Josep de la Boqueria,Food Market. The green line from Sants takes you to Drassanes (where the esplanade is) and Liceu (4 and 5...

I stayed at this hotel for the 3rd time during the Mobile World Congress week this year as it was a hotel recommended by my company. While the overall hotel experience was very decent, two items went missing during my stay: a metro pass and coins. I reported the disappearance of the metro pass to the reception, who investigated with...

Dear Mr Warren C, During your stay, we discussed every detail with you on reception. As you were informed by my co-workers, the maid had not seen anything. As my co-workers said before, they have been working with us for many years there are not new in our team. At reception you were informed that the maid saw nothing and...

Stayed here for work during MWC. Hotel was clean with comfortable rooms & friendly staff. We had to switch rooms on the first day since we came back to find our room smelling like a sewer, but staff were quick to get us into a new room which was fine. Unfortunately the corridor stayed stinky for the rest of the...

Such a convenient hotel for anyone travelling to Barcelona from the airport. This is about 200 yards from Esatcio Sants: convenient. It's also about 300yards from Tarragona on Line 3 so convenient for getting straight to Las Ramblas and the port. The staff there are very helpful and accommodating. We had stayed there before our cruise, and on the return...

On my way back to Zurich I had one night here. The room were modern, but are in desperate need of refurbishing and refresh. The bed for instance should be revised with new mattresses and concept, having handy-available a sock for battery charging. Beside the windows are far from being well insulated. The breakfast is charged 12 EUR and I...

Expo Hotel is ideally located five minutes from the Sants metro station and walking distance (20min) from the Rampla, downtown Barcelona. The young people running the hotel are very polite and ready to help you out making your day. The rooms are spacious but really boring and impersonal making a long stay rather unpleasant and tiring. The bathroom is old...
