The hotel was lovely, the staff were really friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel is very central. Had a lovely time in Barcelona and when I return I will definitely go back to this hotel.

Four of us spent three pleasant days here prior to departing on a cruise from thePort of Barcelona. The hotel is very well placed only 10 minutes walk to the waterfront, Las Ramblas and the Barrio Gotic. We chose it for these reasons and were not disappointed with our choice. The quiet rooms we asked for were allocated to us,...

We've just returned from a weekend city break, staying at the Garbi Millenni - we arrived at 5pm on friday evening (after a 15 minute taxi journey from terminal 2 at Barcelona airport costing €30) We were greeted by a young man on reception who was polite and really helpful through our stay. Our room was on the 4th floor,...

Myself and my husband started our honeymoon here and stayed two nights before embarking on a cruise. I read some reviews prior and would have to agree that I wouldn't rate this as 4*. The room we were allocated was very small although it was clean. The location was good and was within 15 minutes walking distance from La ramblas....

Very nice and clean hotel. Reception staff very helpful and ordered transport in the morning to take us to the cruise ship, free of charge. Hotel situated very close to Las Ramblas. Lots of cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. Staff very helpful and friendly. Full Breakfast was very good.

We spent 6 nights in this hotel and I think that many feedbacks on tripadvisor are not fair. The hotel is well located near to parallel metro station and 15 minutes walk from La Ramblas. The neighberhood is safe. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast is repetitive but good and hearty. Overall, we...

Great location for the hotel. Nearby to a few metro lines which link you to anywhere you need to go. Rooms are a bit small but come with ample storage space. Beds are comfy, but showers/baths (if you can call it a bath) are small also. But more than adequate for a few nights stay. Breakfast in the morning is...

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
