The room was small but clean and had everything that you would need for your stay. I felt very safe and the staff was very friendly and helpful but very, very limited English if any. I would book this hotel again as it was so...More
The hotel was ideally located at the top of La Ramblas, handy for all the transport options.
Staff were very friendly, rooms lovely and clean, breakfast included and good and price was very reasonable. Really good quality!
We stayed for 3 nights and loved the hotel. It is beautifully decorated and immaculately kept. We enjoyed the pool on the rooftop terrace and the rooftop bar was great. Very well located and with helpful and friendly staff. We will be back.
Very pleased with this choice. Staff were friendly. a/c in rooms. Nice old building with lots of character. First look is similar to a hostel but it is a great budget style hotel positioned right on Las Ramblas.

Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-metre boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and
appetising selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
