La Casa Gran is a traditional bed&breakfast in a monumental building called Cases Almirall from 1928, in the heart of l'Eixample district. We are located between two main streets of the city, Diagonal and Muntaner. It is a lively area with lots of restaurants, new bars and traditional bodegas and "vermuterias". Our place is walking distance to the main tourist attractions, you can reach Passeig de Gracia or Las Ramblas walking through l'Eixample streets. You can also get to Gothic quarter, Raval and Gracia district. We want to offer local products and experiences for you to enjoy the city. Your stay includes Catalan breakfast, free WIFI, water, fruits, tea and coffee facilities all day. We have a large common area where you can sit and relax during the day. We share our home with our guests, so we are here to help if needed.

My mom and I had a wonderful stay here. Anna and Victor are lovely hosts, the B&B is clean and has a homely feeling. The location is perfect and the terrace is a big plus! Highly recommended and would stay here again on my next visit to Barcelona!

Victor and Ana really are the perfect hosts. They went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay in Barcelona, gave us many tips about getting around the city easily and gave us cool addresses for local food. They offered a choice of breakfasts that we really enjoyed. Their place is beautiful, spacious, superbly located, an easy walk to the Gracia neighborhood and the old city. They have an beautiful outdoor patio with comfortable furniture to lounge that looks out over Carrer de Muntaner - it’s really a unique and privileged experience. I can’t recommend La Casa Gran enough, it was one of our best finds 👍

I stayed here for one night only. I was visiting Barcelona to watch football at the Nou Camp Stadium. I walked from Barcelona Sants Station having travelled from Madrid. The B&B is situated on Av.Diagonal a huge main road through Barcelona. It can be found some 50 yards away from the corner of Carrer De Muntaner where it joins Av.Diagonal. The B&B is spacious and the room I had was a decent size with every amenity needed. There was drinking water available in a bottle but no tea and coffee. The breakfast had 2 options and I chose the Yoghurt option. It was superb and filling. What makes this place is the Owners, Victor and Anna. I spoke to Victor alot, his customer service to people like me staying at the B&B was a 11 out of 10 experience, it was that good. I enjoyed my brief visit and will recommend to my friends to stay here should they need accomodation in Barcelona. The reason for my stay was to watch football. It took me about 40 minutes each way to walk to and from the Nou Camp Stadium. It was easy and straightforward. The following morning I walked back to Barcelona Sants Station to travel onto the City of Girona.

We were looking forward to our Honeymoon here. Due to COVID, we did not feel safe to travel out of the country. La Casa did no work with us & refund anything because our room was non-refundable even with plenty of notice. We would hope during these unforeseen times, some sense of understanding (possibly meeting us 1/2 way with the cost), would prevail. We would not feel comfortable staying in Victor & Anna's home knowing the experience we have had. Newlyweds in California

Victor, Anna, and Danielle are wonderful hosts at a very lovely bed and breakfast. Staying at La Casa Gran is like being magically whisked away to the 1920s - the styling is impeccable, charming, well located, and delicious breakfast. We can’t say enough good things and even extended our stay by two days!

We had the small room and it was perfect for the two of us. We spent most of our time exploring the City and the room was perfectly located for us to come and change or rest up for our next adventure. The breakfast was typical Spanish and just what we needed to start our day. The rooms can get a little street noise, so pay attention when they show you how to close the shutters. Victor and family are great.

This was our fourth trip to wonderful city of Barcelona. We chose La Casa Gran because we really like Eixample area and this B&B had great reviews. Communication before our trip was very quick and we got all information needed. This B&B is located in a safe local residential building next to a major street. Public transport is easily available nearby as well as shops, restaurants etc. La Casa Gran is decorated in a very stylish way. Premises are peaceful and they even have a nice terrace. Our room was just great: spacious and spotlessly clean. The wide bed offered a good sleep. Some comments about the traffic noise were mentioned in the reviews but it was really not a problem for us. Barcelona is a big city with lots of traffic, so it is impossible to avoid some noise. For light sleepers there are ear plugs on the house. Breakfast was served in a nice room and it included cold cuts, cheese, bread, cereals, coffee etc. Also delicious freshly squeezed orange juice was available. Many good features mentioned but still the best part are the hosts: Victor and Anna are really lovely and warm people. They make you feel not only as welcomed guests but almost like being at home. Nothing seems to be a problem for them and it is really nice to chat because both are really fluent in English. So, if you are looking for a distinctive and comfortable accommodation, still at a reasonable price, don't hesitate to choose La Casa Gran!

Victor and Anna were wonderful hosts! The location is excellent with restaurants, shops, Hop on Hop Off bus stop, and metro close by. Also many tourist sites are within walking distance. Property is clean, room of good size, and breakfast was fine. We had to leave early on day of departure and Victor arranged taxi pickup and had breakfast to go for us. We can definitely recommend if looking for an affordable, clean place to stay in a great location in a beautiful city!

Victor was a courteous, thoughtful and knowledgable host and he serves a delicious breakfast. The common parts of the characterful apartment are spacious. There were plenty of good places to eat nearby. Thank you a lovely stay.
