The building is ancient and very nice. An owner Gunther was trying to do his best. My single room was really ok, with the heating system and even tv as it is not that common in guesthouse's single rooms. The bathroom very clean. However, it was impossible to take a rest due really bad soundproof. You can hear everything what...

This guesthouse is well located only a short walk to the tourist hub. The rooms are small, clean and welcoming. The shared bathrooms are continuously cleaned. For those arriving late at night it is a little hard to find as there is no signage outside. The staff are welcoming, friendly and very helpful. I would certainly recommend as a safe...

I booked it because it looked like a big comfortable house and it was less than a mile from the historic district. As soon as I hit pay I realized it was shared bathrooms and got trepidatius. However as soon as I got there I realized it was a big old beautiful house and it was very comfortable using the...

The old adage of you get what you pay for. This guest house is clean and simple. But I'm going to put it out there that I found it a little odd. I arrived in a foreign city late at night not having slept for about 26 hours. Dropped unceremoniously in the street by the taxi at the address I...

Gunter the owner was very welcoming. My room was great and the building was fab. It was a little hard to find as there is no sign outside. It can get a bit noisty but pack your earplugs and you will be fine. A great area to stay.

For my first solo trip I chose to stay here as my first destination. I chose to stay in Eddy Rooms due to the good price and location. It was perfect for what I needed. On arrival I was greeted by a friendly member of staff, I had arrived a few hours early in the hope that I could leave...

I was looking for a quiet and clean room in the Eixample and Eddy's Room was the perfect solution for my only night in Barcelona. It is located in an amazing Liberty building. My room was tiny but with private bath and very clean. The house is located 5 minutes walking from Passeig the Gracia. Eddy was very friendly. Definitively...

The room was comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed using the dining room for eating and socialing with friends. The location was excellent. Close to La Rambla and walking distance of beach and port. Lots of beautiful buildings and sights to see close by.

Retro look. Located inside a very old building. If you want to stay in hotel like this but dont wanna shell out a lot precious pennies, this is ideal for you. You get free hot drinks like tea and coffee. Cleanliness and basic amenities could be improved a bit.

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
