I just came back from a 4 nights in Barcelona - our apartment was a studio type located in the Barrio Gotico just a stroll away from the port - bright room with powerful A/C, flat screen tv and good mattresse (we asked for a double and we got 2 single joined together) - a small kitchenette located along the...

We stayed on the second floor in the building just around the corner of the reception. The apartment was OK, small kitchen and nice bathroom. The mattresses were hard as rocks. Also, the hustle and bustle from the streets had no problem penetrating these paper thin walls. But ok for the price, and so, so nicely located in the beautiful...

The location of these apartments was ideal, in the centre of Barri Gotic and just a short walk from La Rambla and the centre of the city. The rooms were cosy and there was enough space for two people/apartment. The only negative things were that we had to wait for someone to come open the door for quite a while...

We were had. This is nothing like it looks in photos. You have to walk a good half mile to collect a key from a rude office person, then trek back to let yourself in to this tiny, untidy, sloppy apartment. The bed was practically made of rock, the pillows dirty, a huge hole in the shower ceiling (you could...

For the price, this is excellent value as it's right in the heart of the gothic quarter and as soon as you step into the street you're in the heart of Barcelona. Rooms are basic but it is cheap and it's got aircon, wifi, balcony and comfortable so it suited our needs. Quite noisy at night but it's old so...

AinB do different grades of accommodation. We went for the "basic" self catering apartment. It was no frills ie no pegs on the back of the bathroom door ;no wardrobe only a rail. This didn't bother us. We found the apartment to be clean, bright, modern with all the amenities we required eg fridge, electric ring , microwave, kettle. Great...

We were supposed to be staying there this evening for 2 nights in a 2 bed apartment. Our taxi driver from the airport had trouble finding it but eventually we realised we were not so much looking for the apartment than looking for the office. Went to check in only to be told we had been moved to ainB gothic...

Reception at check in and at the hotel were very nice and helpful. We stayed for 1 night in 1 bedroom apartment which room size are ok for us. We got what we paid for but the sound proof quality are not really good. We heard some communication outside the building during at night. Room and facilities are fine for...

“Barcelona is an amazing city. We loved every minute of our 1 week stay - we never stopped and perhaps saw only half of what there is to see. The Gothic quarter has to be experienced to be believed, recommend a trip to the Olympic Park and walk around the top of the "old bull ring" and of course the Sagrada Familia is an absolute must visit. Buy a ten trip Metro ticket and get around the city. The best recommendation I can give is that I will very definitely return”
