I stayed here in March during a work trip to Bcn and chose the location because it is central and close to the metro/bus/train so easy to get around. Rooms are competitively priced for the area. The b&b is a converted apartment in the modernist part of Barcelona. All the rooms lead off a central corridor from the main entrance...

The place is cute, well located in Passeig de Gracia, near Casa Batllò and some metro stops. I'm quite disappointed since the first morning a lot of water flowed out from the shower while I was washing my hands in the sink positioned in the bedroom. The water was obviously dirt and I had to change room with another one,...

This hotel is very small and cosy. The location is excellent! It's within walking distance to all of the major sites such as the Sagrada Familia, Casa Batllo, Placa de Gracia, Placa de Catalunya and many others. The staff, especially Cassandra, were fabulous and very knowledgeable, ready to help you plan your day. The private terrace and breakfast room are...

I liked the place altho its a bit smaller than expected. Its situated on the second floor of the house. Our room was with the balcony and pretty views on a smallish plaza. Breakfast usual staff with cereal and toast, nothing special. Overall - great place for a stay.

The hotel is located in the center of the city next to the main streets. Prices are very competitive. Our private room and different common areas where such as the breakfast room or the terrace was clean and tidy. Relaxing place to stay with your partner or family. Service is absolutely the best! The Jardinets Guest House is a good place to stay for people who want good location. Positives: -10minute walk from Placa de Gracias. This is the road which has loads of restaurants and shops including designer shops and more average shops such as Bershka and H&M. If you keep walking on Placa de Gracias then this will lead you to...

We booked the budget double room through booking.com however on arrival it was a twin and had a shared bathroom. Apparently the hotel was full so we outset be upgraded. The next morning we had no hot water for an entire day with no apology, compensation or room move. I asked to speak to the manger but was refused. They...

Dear Guest, As you can read in our Booking.com profile, the budget room has twin beds and shared bathroom. I hope that was not a surprise for you, because everything was explained in advance in that site. Sometimes, we have issues that we tried to solve immediately. We're sorry if it was not enough fast for you, you can be...

We were here in June last year. I came across this guest house which seemed promising on a website. When we reached there we were warmly welcomed and the rooms and ambiance was excellent and much better than i had thought. I also provided a morning breakfast which was rather sumptuous to start your day. Its also very close to...

We stayed here 4 nights and had mixed feeling about it. Although rated 5 stars, it is mainly for the staff effort since there are few downsides: the sleep quality was pretty poor, the bed and the pillows are really uncomfortable. The breakfast is very basic – ok, its B&B but washing your own dishes, I mean people we’re on...

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
