I'm not glad of my stay there. The room was clean, but we were asked for a room with 2 beds, and we get one bed. One guy, who works there said us that the system automaticly choose the beds. It's stupid and superficial.
Considering the price i payed, we did not get value for money. No Windows, no door to the bathroom, and a door that did not close to the toilet. No aircon, no internet, noice from the washing machine and the compressor 24 h.
Stayed there during short city break, didn't expected much for the price I've payed and got very positively surprised. Only short walk from town, very clean and communal areas nicely decorated.
The price also included breakfast!
Terrible beds with a lot of annoying noises
the WiFi did not work properly and slow internet with a lot of disconnections
Breakfast was only butter and jam with cold coffee
During night even late night a lot of noise were coming which did not...More
Despite being somewhat older than their normal clientele, we were warmly welcomed by staff and guests. We had booked a room with private facilities, which were more than adequate for our needs. The beds weren't the most comfortable but they didn't prevent us from sleeping....More

Hi Gary- I can't remember how long it took to get to the hostel but it wasn't too far, we got 2 seperate trains which I think is pretty common with barcaleona cos their metro is crazy compared to Glasgows simple circle! At the airport head for the metro, depending on what terminal you're at i think you'll have to walk over a sort of bridge/walkway to get to it. From there you can't go wrong as it's a simple one way system - one train leaving the airport and the other coming in to the airport. At the airport metro buy a multi journey ticket as it will save you money in the coming days! I think it's like €10 or something can't mind how many journeys but at the end of our long weekend we hadn't used them all up! So that line is the grey line, stay on that til you get to Sants station then get off and jump on the green line and get off at paral-lel. The hostel is less than 5minutes walk from there! If you're going alone the hostel is a great choice :) they will offer to make dinner for you and take you out on tours and pub crawls haha. Have fun!
