Our room was like a spooky small cell in a jail. No window, no place for our luggage or anything. You cant sleep at night, cause there‘s no chance for fresh air and if you put on the air condition its to loud. Horror... and...More
This place is so F-ING noisy - I can’t believe how few have commented on this! People stomping up and down the stairs, playing music, and even the visits to the toilet can be heard from anywhere on the two upper floors. We had to...More

Really lovely Hostel with young and friendly people. The room was a little bit small but they offered us a gift because we booked a double private room. The gift was a bottle of champagne, we appreciated this.
Barcelona is a little expensive on hotel stays so I thought I would try and stay in a hostel. I never have before so thought it would be a different experience. I probably won't do it again. The Hostel is in a good location to...More

Hi Gary- I can't remember how long it took to get to the hostel but it wasn't too far, we got 2 seperate trains which I think is pretty common with barcaleona cos their metro is crazy compared to Glasgows simple circle! At the airport head for the metro, depending on what terminal you're at i think you'll have to walk over a sort of bridge/walkway to get to it. From there you can't go wrong as it's a simple one way system - one train leaving the airport and the other coming in to the airport. At the airport metro buy a multi journey ticket as it will save you money in the coming days! I think it's like €10 or something can't mind how many journeys but at the end of our long weekend we hadn't used them all up! So that line is the grey line, stay on that til you get to Sants station then get off and jump on the green line and get off at paral-lel. The hostel is less than 5minutes walk from there! If you're going alone the hostel is a great choice :) they will offer to make dinner for you and take you out on tours and pub crawls haha. Have fun!
