Merce was very helpful with check-in. The apartment was lovely and even had a balcony. The only thing that was a little difficult was that there was this dog (which I can only assume was a beagle) who lived somewhere on the block and howled...More
Banys de Mar is absolutely gorgeous. The manager Mercè is friendly and useful, and the location of the apartments is simply superb. Stop looking for other options. This is the place you want to be and you will not regret it.
We stayed in Banys de Mar apartment from 08.10.2017-12.10.2017. The host Merce was really nice. When we arrived she gave us brochures about Barcelona, explained what we definitely need to see, what to taste and where to go, as well gave tips how to save...More
Banys de mar is a perfect place to stay. The apartments are beatiful and the Price is really cheap compared to airbnb. Btw mercer is the sweetest person you'll ever come across in Barcelona. Just a fantastic place - cant wait to visit again soon

A genuine, warm, cozy, friendly, well equipped stay in Barcelona, just a minute walk from the beach. Host Merce is such a nice and helpful person. Our family with two children (8, 12 years) had a an amazing stay and we can´t wait to get...More
Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in
the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.
