Just spent 4 nts here. Hotel is centrally located, just a 5 min walk from Primark/Las Ramblas, and a quick walk the other way is Casa Batllo. You can walk to the beach as well, however this takes around 30+ mins. You can get the areobus from the airport for 6,75 euros 1 way, and it stops in Catalunya square, which is a 5 min walk from the hotel. The hotel itself is nice - the reception area is pretty. I found the hotel to look both luxury in accessories (i.e. lights, robes, bathroom details etc) but then a little shabby/tired in other ways (i.e. some of the bedroom furniture, the corridor walls etc). We were on the 4th floor however we had a wall that was fairly close to our window as the view, so it was quite dark in there during the day, however luckily we don't spend our time in there during the day. The bathroom was nice and the robes were super heavy, and the slippers were probably the best Ive ever had in a hotel. We were experiencing mini ants around our sink area each day (I'm not sure if they liked the minty toothpaste?). We never reported it because they were only small and once we kept killing them, we didn't see them again till the next day. The shower was also nice and spacious, however the shower screen leaked onto the floor so this may need to be looked at (room 404). Reception staff were friendly and polite (didn't really have any interaction with them as such though but they were always pleasant enough when you were coming and going). I used the public hotel disabled bathroom on our last day as I struggled to find the women's toilets. The bathrooms themselves are lovely, however the toilet seat in the disabled is pretty disgusting, and needs to be replaced. We ventured up to the top of the hotel on our first night to see the pool, which looked super small and obviously can't imagine it being used in the winter. The bed was comfy but low. Black out curtains were amazing, however super deceiving as to what time it was in the morning! (Whole point though, I know). I missed having a plug socket next to the full length mirror so I could straighten my hair. I had to do it on the dressing table where there was no mirror. Not a big deal but kind of makes sense? We did have a couple of black hairs in the shower upon check-in, and then again after our cleaner had been, which isn't great, but it is what it is. All in all, I would recommend this hotel for location, and would be happy to stay here again.

Friendly staff, central location, solid room, rain shower is nice, comfortable bed and good wifi. Pillows are not great. The area is what it is and obviously a bit loud, but better than it was. The hotel is pretty good.

Pretty nice hotel in a very good location with full access to all shopping and restaurants in the area. The hotel had a good rooftop vibe, great cocktails and the staff were pretty friendly. The rooms were clean and pretty well equiped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I have mentioned this place to a few friends visiting Barcelona for sure.

This was our first time in Barcelona. There were many choices for a 1 night stay in this area however being close to the cruise port (20-25 mins) limited our selection. The MidMost location on the popular, central shopping street Calle Pelai is also a selling point. We spent our time walking the city and getting the vibe of this area and trying some of the many nearby restaurants. The hotel was older but more modern and clean on the inside. This hotel offers dining in restaurant and a bar. However the very nice feature is the rooftop terrace with its own bar which you can spend the evening with a view of the city relaxing on comfortable lounge chairs. The staff was helpful and courteous. Based on my limited exposure to Barcelona we were satisfied with the accommodation at its price. I would recommend this hotel if you are staying in this area.

When we first came in the garment at the bottom of the bed had multiple smears. We took it off and tucked it away because it was disgusting. Then found five long hairs on the bed. It didn’t feel clean. Lastly, the room smelled like sewage because a weird smell was coming from the bathroom. We complained about the smell and they said it might make that smell when it rains. However, it hasn’t rained in Barcelona for over a week. They said they will send someone up to take care of the smell and they started spraying something in the bathroom. But after an hour the sewage smell was back. I do not recommend this hotel.

As a solo traveler this hotel hits all the marks. It's conveniently located and mostly everything you want to do in Barcelona is walkable. The rooms are lovely and safety is a priority for Hotel Midmost . Highly recommend. The breakfast offering is excellent. The roof top pool and bar are a welcome oasis on sultry days.

You can hear every noise from that rooms, it’s very loud, reception staff are slightly hostile when asking for certain items such as an iron, with an ironing board to go along with it. Although the location is very good and has easy access to the town centre. Price is good but again if you’re looking for good service maybe find another hotel in the vicinity.

We stayed at Hotel Midmost for a week with our family, and while there were some positive aspects, there were also a few concerning issues that affected our overall experience. Good Points: Location: The hotel's proximity to the metro and Las Ramblas was incredibly convenient for exploring the city. We appreciated the ease of access to public transportation and the vibrant atmosphere of the surrounding area. Rooftop Pool and Bar: The highlight of our stay was the delightful rooftop pool and bar. The views from up there were stunning, and it provided a perfect place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Friendly Bar and Restaurant Staff: The bar and restaurant staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist. They made dining at the hotel a pleasant experience. Bad Points: Miscommunication Regarding Rollaway Bed: Our initial experience with the hotel was disappointing. When we emailed to check if the rollaway bed we requested for our child could be added to our room, the hotel informed us that it wouldn't be possible. This left us in a difficult situation as our child couldn't stay in the room with us. Despite our attempts to resolve the issue, the hotel refused to change its stance or provide any refund, leaving us with no choice but to book a room at another hotel. However, upon arrival at the other hotel, they were accommodating, and we eventually managed to stay at Hotel Midmost. This situation was quite chaotic and stressful. Limited Complimentary Water: We were disappointed to find that only small bottles of water were provided upon arrival and that we had to pay for water after that. It would have been more guest-friendly to offer complimentary water throughout our stay. Security Issue: One day, after returning from the beach, we were shocked to find our hotel room door wide open. Thankfully, nothing was stolen, but this lapse in security was alarming. While the reception apologized, we expected a more proactive response or at least an investigation into the matter. Aloof Front Desk Staff: The front desk staff seemed distant and barely interacted with us during our stay. A warmer and more attentive approach would have made us feel more welcome. In conclusion, Hotel Midmost has a fantastic location and appealing amenities like the rooftop pool and bar. However, the experience was marred by miscommunication and poor handling of the rollaway bed request, limited complimentary water, a security lapse with our room door, and unresponsive front desk staff. With some improvements in communication and guest services, Hotel Midmost could truly become a top-notch accommodation option in Barcelona.

My wife and I spent a long weekend here for our 25th wedding anniversary. The Hotel was excellent for many reasons. The room was wonderfully presented. We had a junior suite with a balcony (it was a corner room so had three actually), the facilities were first-class. Plenty of thought had been put into the amenities - yes there is a chargeable mini bar and crips / nuts but there were nice little things, for example, there was a UK /EU plag adapter in the room (which, in all my years of travelling I've not seen in any hotel). The separate bathroom and WC were spotless and well provisioned. The hotel itself is situated away from La Ramblas which is actually a bonus as being right on the main drag could be quite loud and disruptive. Midmost is about 2 mins walk from both the Placa de Catalunya and the start of La Ramblas. The Placa de Catalunya is where you can catch all of the main Tour buses (Which we thoroughly recommend as a great way to see the city). Once you've been out and about, you can return to the hotel and enjoy cocktails on the rooftop terrace bar with a small but cooling pool. The staff at the hotel and roof bar were extremely attentive and looked after us (special thanks to Maya on the roof bar)...

We stayed at the Hotel Midmost in Barcelona for three nights in April 2023. Our room was a suite that overlooked C. de Pelai. This was a corner room with three large windows with "Barcelona" balconies. Although one could hear some street noise at night, it was never loud enough to be bothersome. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is in a great location near Placa de Catalunya. Easy access to the Metro, Barri Gothic, El Born and El Raval.
