This is one of the nicer hotels I stayed in and they allow dogs in the rooms. The hotel part is part of a monastery and church complex and is managed by the church group that owns it. Part of the building is still inhabited by monks. The building itself has been painstakingly restored and the rooms modernized. The beds...

I reserved here as I love historic hotels. While the location and environs can't be beat, the hotel itself on the inside could have been built yesterday. It is modern, pleasant, etc., but lacking in the historic charm, antiques, etc. I had hoped for. It is also quite pricey, and we ended up even having breakfast outside (much better and...

Somewhat weary after a 7 hour drive up from the Algarve, the easy parking and friendly welcome we received at this hotel was a boon. The hotel is a converted monastery situated in the middle of the old quarter. Our room was well appointed, spacious, clean and very comfortable. Both the restaurant and bar were delightful. Room including breakfast in...

The hotel is a good place to explore the city of Salamanca, It was a easy walk to the center & plaza, river, and old town. My room (105) was on the first floor, and i did find have a small welcome gift, and the room looks on a inner cord, the bed was very comfortable. Good value for the...

This is a very elegant and charming hotel that used to be a convent and has been masterfully renovated and converted into a hotel. We had a beautiful view of the private garden of the monks that still live there. The location is excellent, a five minute walk to all major attractions. The staff is very helpful, our room large...

We arrived by car. Easy to find. Parking lots outside of the hotel (around 17 Euros a day). The staff was very nice and helpful. The room is spacious, well furnished and the bed has a good quality. Room was very clean and in good shape. We had a good feeling in this room and hotel. Even our dog was...

Such a wonderful hotel- lovely, clean and modern rooms with stunning views of the monastery right next door. Room was in excellent condition and the location truly can't be beat. Just a few minutes to the heart of Salamanca. Staff was helpful and kind - just an excellent stay all around! Would highly recommend.

A really wonderful stay - the staff at the front desk/on the phone/cleaners couldn't do enough for me - a credit to the hotel and Spain. Quiet, picturesque (San Esteban from my bedroom window!) and the room so characterful and luxurious. Near the historic centre (a jewel of Spain). People of Sala SO friendly, courteous and helpful. Wonderful touches -...

Very nice rooms which have a view on the garden of the monastery next door (if you pay a little extra). Staff is very kind and supportive - although not too proficient in English (wasn't a problem at all). Restaurant (breakfast) is in a superb old hall of the ancient building - beautiful!

This is a nice and very comfortable hotel where one can easily guess how complicated the dominican catholic monastry designing minds were by the time was built because only the way from the room to the reception and back can become a never-ending nightmare !! What a maze !!!! The rooms are located exactly where the monks chambers were ......
