Recently spent two nights in this hostel with a group of friends and we all agreed that it was great. Perfect location, five minutes from the centre of the old town and the party district, but not close enough that we couldn't sleep when we got back. The showers were a little cramped but clean and we weren't expecting anything...

Centrally located, but definitely has drawbacks. It doesn't have A/C and the guy running it only works till 10 pm. The wifi is also not great. Contrary to what Kayak says, it does not have parking, though it's not hard to find street parking during the summer months, especially.

The friendly Brazilian owner checked us in and spent quite a bit of time giving us an overview of the downtown section of Salamanca. The hostel is in a nice location, right on the edge of the historic city center. We were afraid the road noise might keep us awake, because we had a room on the road side. It...

Casa de banho suja (tampo da sanita incluido), lençois sujos e quarto sempre quente (o que até seria bom, se desse para regular...). A unica coisa boa é mesmo o preço, mas não compensa... WC dirty (including the toilet), dirty sheets and the bedroom was always hot (It would have been good if there was a way to lower it...)...

The location was great for me, only went straight downhill from the bus station and took a left turn at the end of the road, 15 minutes. And it's located on the rim of the old town. I got a single room without bathroom for 22 eu. The shared bathroom was on the hallway but quite private, we gotta have...

The Hostal Mindanao was a real find and as good as anywhere that I have stayed at the price. It is handily placed for the bus station and the major sights of Salamanca. Initially I had shared facilities and asked to be moved when an en suite became available. This happened and I was helped with the move. It is...

Monte and his wife could not have done more for us, the room was clean and comfortable, we had help with getting to know Salamanca and other parts of Castilla...

I stayed at Hostal Mindanao on late November, 2011. I had a great overall experience and will recommend it to everyone wanting to spend a few days in Salamanca. The hotel is very well located. From it, you can easily walk to both the bus station and the Plaza Mayor and everywhere in the city center. Also, it is located...

Staying at Hostal Mindanao was a great experience. I stayed in Salamanca for a week. Hostal Mindanao was close to the Plaza Mayor, yet far enough to provide a relaxing, quiet, experience. It is located on one of the major streets that runs around the center of the city allowing for easy access to anything in the city. The staff...
