Hard to rate the hotel accurately as either 3 or 4 star as there are elements of both. An excellent location within easy walking distance of most tourist sites. The hotel is pleasant and spotlessly clean. The rooms are adequate of a decent size with basic bathroom amenities though the towels are really fluffy! Plenty of storage space. Good range... More

Great hotel with fantastic views of this quaint hilltop town. It is typical Toledo, with knight's armor and all. Rates were very affordable. Be aware if you are arriving by car, the parking garage next door does NOT accept credit cards and neither does the cathedral ticket office.

This hotel is at the top of the hill. Everything else is downhill just so you know. The town is small so most everything is close by. The hotel is a nice mix of old world and modern. The breakfast area was in the basement and felt so medieval - how fun! Good selection of breakfast eats.

We stayed here with a big group on a choir trip. The staff was ready for us when we arrived and helped for a smooth check in. The rooms are nice with good A/C. There is also a medieval room on the floor below the lobby which was really nice to gather in. The breakfast was good and had a... More

Now I am in the hotel Alfonso VI. Before ordering read reviews about the hotel. There were positive and negative reviews. I can not write about this hotel. I'll start from the beginning: ordered a standard room for a family (2 adults and a child) at the front greeted professionally with an open heart and a smile. order to recognize... More

After reading mixed reviews, we weren't sure what to expect. But we are glad we stayed in this hotel. As we liked it so much, we ended up extending our stay. Unbeatable location, friendly reception and house keeping staff, comfortable room and great view from the room all made our stay special. The house keeper even took care of our... More

This hotel is in a great location at the top of the hill, with stunning views of the city. The rooms are quaint but well equipped. This hotel was good value for the money spent! The hotel staff are very professional and try to move everyone along quickly through the check in process. I will stay here anytime I'm in... More

Very friendly & helpful lady on reception who spoke good English. Chap on reception helped my wife with the luggage while I parked the car in the adjacent car park. Great location. Most of the hotel is pretty good but the ceiling tiles are outdated. Cheap wooden panel on back of bathroom door too. Breakfast buffet was OK and served... More

This hotel is has a good location but you walk a steep hill to get to it from downtown. The rooms are nice and clean. Staff is not the most helpful staff I found in the Spain hotels. They do not help you when you get there to check in and lack of smiles makes you feel like they are... More
