I stayed in Palacio del Mar last summer with my husband and my four kids. We booked two rooms and they were very large with a double bed and a sofa bed. Four people could have easily stayed in one room . The bath was very comfortable and everything was clean. The staff is friendly and helpful . We had...

Firstly people need to remember that spanish 4 star equates to british 3 star and this hotel is spanish 4 star, the decor leaves a lot to be desired its garish and a mismatch of fish in the elavators to bullfighting in lobby to african in cafe/bar the staff are all helpful and polite and try there best to accomodate...

Needs updating, quite underwhelming for a 4 star grade. Very noisy from bar underneath until 3 30 am even though we were on 3rd floor. Very spacious and clean. Extra 3 euro for tea tray which was not replenished with tea bags. 13 euro extra for breakfast which we didn't avail of as supermarket was quite close for pastries fruit...

This was our worst hotel experience for a very long time. It does not match the given four star rating. Cannot find a positive comment to promote such a hotel. The woman at the reception was mean and after complaining vigorously gave us a 20% discount on the room price. we didn't have time to spend in complaining more as...

We booked this hotel through the Internet and found it a bit pricey but we booked anyway. The actual hotel was a bit hard to find even with the Navigator in the car. But once we found it we loved it. The hotel is older and looks more like and apartment building. The reception staff was very friendly and welcoming....

Basic fabric of hotel is old and tired and in need of a major refurbishment. I'll never understand the 4 star rating. Staff were very helpful and understanding especially when we complained that our room was smelling to stale tobacco. We were assured that the whole hotel was non-smoking and we were immediately shown to a different room. It was...

A great place at a good price. Breakfast great buffet. Staff don't mind me trying Spanish. They are very patient. Would be good to have a kettle in the room to make a cup of coffee. Swimming is a proper pool next door but I haven't had time to get there. I need a pass from reception. If they organised...

Looking through other reviews I wonder what people see and expect. First the hotel is in Spain so it's unlikely English will be the first language. The rooms are massive, always spotlessly clean. Staff very accommodating and always helpful regarding restaurants and bars As for location, it's a 5 min drive from the ferry or 45 mins scenic walk. If...

Clean tidy good rooms nice breakfast. Sets you up for a days travelling. Oh and its 10 mis by car from the ferry port. Parking is a bit restricted we always book the garage when we book. Very steep entry / exit but good car park.
