We had a room looking out over the bay & beach and it was beautiful. Perfect end to have 3 nights here before going home. Poor experiences at reception (gave us wrong info), the cafe and the main restaurant. All staff seemed very lacking in knowledge of the hotel or area. (Great housekeeping staff) Hotel position was superb.

Great 2 day business stay, location just outside town but in a nice spot opposite the beach. Get a sea view room for a great views. Very friendly and helpful staff. 15 minute walk along the promenade to town

This hotel is fabulous! After spending 3 nights in a cramped room in San Sebastian we traveled to Santander and checked into this place. Beautiful views with windows that opened up to the breeze and ocean air. The beach across the street is SO pretty. We could hear the waves all night. Definitely a romantic place to go! Very spacious...

This is a well positioned hotel if you want to be near the beach. There are some restaurants nearby as well as the Casino. The hotel is clean and well maintained. We had a room overlooking the sea and the road. Noise was not an issue as we like to hear the sea and accept a bit of noise from...

The hotel was situated on the main beach front in the main area and was easy to find. You can park for free in the small car park next to the hotel or on the street. On arrival the man on reception was unfriendly and quite indifferent so not a good welcome. We took the lift to our room. The...

We stayed here three nights and had a lovely ocean view. Check in was very efficient and the property has (very) small elevators. It has 'additive architecture' in that you have to be careful what elevator you get on because there are some steps to navigate because of different levels on each floor....not a big deal. Close to the ocean...

It was not what we expected. Our room was nothing like those shown on the web site. It was an attic=like room on the top floor, with two small windows in the slanted portion of the roof. We had to stand up by the window to see out and even then there was no interesting view. The room was hot...

The trip was a combined conference and holiday trip. When booking the hotel, it was advertised as "fully refurbished, great location". Yes, the location next to the El Sardinero beach is very nice and the view from our room over the ocean was lovely, but the hotel is in poor shape. Old rooms, horrible beds, far from refurbished. The first...

The hotel looks nice from the outside but the room decor is a bit dated. No real problem there. Some of the staff lack friendliness to a degree that borders on rudeness. However other staff is friendly and very helpful. My main concern with the stay was that in the morning I found my arms and hands covered in insect...
