The hotel was as expected and the room, though was an attic, was clean and well renovated. View of the bay with a piece of the hotel sign ( literally outside our small window) was nice. The hotel is on the water in a nice residential area. The only problem for us was that it was not a walking distance...

So really I'd say stay here out of season as a stop over and eat somewhere else. The room was nice with a lovely view of the bay and a balcony in the shade. The reception staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was okay. Generally the food is dire. I can't understand why it was so busy unless the...

The room was big enough, but it was august and you don't have air conditioning. I could no sleep, therefore I could not rest... And the bed was too hard. In addition, the garage was full and outside it is not so easy to find a parking place. It was a little bit of a disappointment for me.

Four of us stayed here for one night on our way to the MotoGP in Valencia. We were two couples on two motorbikes. When we eventually found the hotel (our problem, not theirs!!!) we had easy parking which was a blessing as it was raining heavily and quite late. The hotel staff were very helpful and happy to converse in...

We booked this hotel as a reasonably priced stopover hotel before travelling further into Spain. Both the hotel and Santander were better than expected. Good seafront location, town centre and most restaurants are a short bus or taxi trip away.

Hotel Chiqui has a superb situation, right at the end of the second bay of El Sardinero and looking across the bay of Santander. It is fairly easy to find by car and although the hotel offers paid car parking it is not difficult to find a spot on the street directly outside. It is a short walk along the...

Arrived 12th Oct 2016. An efficient but brash greeting on check in. Forgivable. Room clean and comfortable. No AC so be careful in Summer. The hotel is a bit isolated so you have to use the restaurant and therein lies the big problem. Two young male waiters parading around like buffoons. Incredibly rude and discourteous and acting like they are...

Stayed here for four nights in October. Excellent base to explore Cantabria from. Good road communications. Practically all rooms have a sea-view whether with balcony or otherwise. Located right on the "Sardinero" beach promenade. Rooms were big and had all the facilities you'd expect from a 4 star in this 3 star. The only thing I missed was the air...

It is one of the best choices to stay in Hotel Chiqui, the location is wonderful especially if you could stay in a room with sea view and Balcony! The Hotel staff are friendly and the staff at the reception are kind, patient and very helpful. The Restaurant and the Cafeteria are very clean, the food served is delicious, prices...

The hotel had parking but on a first come first served basis - no blue badge parking available that we could find near the hotel. Our first view of the hotel -was beautiful balconies over looking the sea - as we had requested and paid for a sea view this is what we were expecting. As my husband is a...
